Gibson to IR

Isn't this why we signed TJ Moe? (Is there anyone else who think he might be a star slot back one day??)

But I think the injuries to Tyms and Gibson give Harper and most importantly Dobson an opportunity to grab playing time.

Tough break for Gibson, I thought he was having a really good camp and had a really good shot at making the 53.

Not as far as I can tell. It's not even that bad for the Patriots all things considered.

Sucks.

I don't usually get too upset over injuries, but Gibson was going to be a nice, and important, little piece to the offense this year. I just hope Wayne can pick up the slack.

Yeah, it sucks, but when you think about how the injury gods have to be appeased, this isn't such a bad sacrifice...

Man...really feel bad for Gibson. Let's hope he fully recovers.

Him and Amendola seem really tight. Danny said his heart sank when he heard the news, and I think Gibson has a great relationship with Josh McD. I have a feeling the Pats are gonna want him back next season - especially if Reggie's only with us for a year

Sucks. Smart receiver who would have been a nice piece for the team. I was pretty sure he was going to make it.

I have no idea if Wayne has anything to offer. We'll see.

Do yourself a favor and stop.

The WR depth is being tested already. I wish the team would have done a bit more at the position in the draft and throughout the offseason. I'm not sure Wayne can even consistently get separation anymore at this point in his career.

I really don't wanna go into that old discussion questioning BB drafts but the past 2 drafts were loaded with talented receivers and we didn't draft a single one, except Jeremy Gallon in the 7th round last year that I don't even know is still in a NFL roster.

I appreciate BB being patient and developing receivers, but there were big red flags that Dobson while talented is also injury prone, and Boyce, well, a guy with BB's experience should now better that speed is not enough.

Jordan Richards can be the second coming of Ed Reed, I still scratch my head with that pick.

I don't recall big injury red flags with Dobson and Boyce has a lot more than just speed. If anything, it was his intelligence that threw Bill off because by all accounts the guy gets it, he just can't put it together on the field.

Completely thought Gibson was a rookie. I didnt know he was on the Rams before us with DA

This sucks...hope we don't pay for the relative good health we had last year.
