Looks like a great time. Cool to see inside of places you may never visit.

Good find. I have done that trip a few times myself; always amazing.

New chant for JE11 this year; "Yalla!!!!!!!"

May he turn the Colts' secondary into pillars of salt!

Have you ever sat on a bus in front randomly shouting guy?

Jules looks like one of those youtube bloggers who blog their travels rather than a football player here. Love that he is on our team having fun but works damn hard.

I always wanted to go to Israel. Just because of it's history. I hear so many great things about the country. Though I'm not religious at all, my Dad has 100% Jewish ancestry from Europe, my Mom was Catholic. I would say we are all Atheists. BUT, I am very proud of my Jewish heritage. So I always wanted to go. Good for Jules going on this trip. Plus I've met a few Israeli women in NYC, yowza !!

Regardless of your religion, it is an amazing trip. Whether as a Jew visiting the Wall or as a Christian following the Stations of the Cross or as a Muslim visiting their holy sites, it is awe inspiring.....
He looks like he had a great time................
(and no post-coital selfies by others)

This HAS to be my favorite thread this entire summer. Many thanks to the OP for finding it. It really was inspiring ans so well done. Julian and his media people really do have a future after his playing days are done. AND yes, why haven't the NFLN or ESPN picked this out to run

It's such a great story on SO many levels. He's a 7th round pick who never played the position, and not only made the roster, he's played CB in the playeroffs and was close to being the superbowl MVP who caught the winning TD...and he's Jewish. But no, that wouldn't work it too uplifting, too positive....too Patriots

I originally thought Julian's Jewish roots lay only in the coincidence of his last name. I had no idea that they were so close to the surface that he's started to explore his heritage. Welcome to the tribe. You now can take your place in the very thin book of Jewish football players.

You've never lived until you have to tell your college football coach as a sophomore that you can't start your first college game because it fell on Yom Kippur. Luckily for me, my HC worked with Marv Levy, so it all worked out. ;) You'll also never know the awkwardness of coaching in the Catholic Conference and having parents come up to you to let you know that THEY had Jewish friends...once.

Thanks again for brightening up my day, week, month and summer
