The Ravens

Some teams travel with a spiritual advisor or chaplain, the Ravens are the only team that travels with a Probation Officer..

Do the actions of the Ravens compromise the "integrity" of the game??

Is it more probable than not that the Ravens will whine and bytch for 16 games this year, before they go home, and then influence the NFL to change the "complicated" and "hard" rules??

What do we tell the children??

To me, the Ravens are the new Raiders (1966-1985)

Related, one of their cheerleaders is now a sex offender for rape of a minor

Sorry, my head is exploding because the above picture is not a creepy middle-aged man forcing himself on to others. I know there is plenty of adult guys wishing she had made her advances on them! But this reinforces the image of the Ravens.

I hate defending any member of that sh*t organization but I remain skeptical that a teenage boy would be "traumatized" by sex with an older woman. I think the whole idea behind stat rape laws was to protect teenage girls from being taken advantage of. Applying them to teenage boys in relations with older women is just silly.

I am not sure I agree with that, Bradford twisting makes it look worse. As a defender you can't hit high or much lower than where he was aiming.

IIRC, There was another play later in the game when Suggs tackled Bradford Helmet high and caught him on the chin. It was a legal hit.

I have made a long post about how Ravens fans are the worst NFL fans and it has nothing to do me my dislike of Suggs. Just the fans themselves are annoying and whinny and hypocritical. Top 3 worst fan bases

#1 Ravens
#2 Eagles (booing santa?)
#3 Raiders (There team sucks right now so people forget but if they get good watch these guys come out of the woodwork and remind you why you hated them for 40+ years.

(I did not 3 cause I can't think of 2 other fan bases I want to put up with these garbage ones)

Top 5 best (I will not include the Pats Fans but we would make this list IMO

#1 Packers - Super passionate fans and i enjoy talking to them
#2 Chicago - These fans stick by in good and bad times. Some are very knowledgeable but you get a few big time homers.
#3 Cowboys - The fans have never been an issue for me. The owner is a jerk and some players are jerks but the fans I think are pretty good and fanatical in a good way
#4 NYJ - This one i will get heat for. Yes it is a hated rival and we see the worst of the fan base consistently for it. They are Passionate fans and know a heck of a lot.
#5 Broncos - Yes another rival team but the fans have never been an issue for me. Considering how much reason we should have to hate them that should be telling.

I used to be able to separate the players from their fans or owner, but that line is getting fuzzier every day.

I can't agree with any worst fan list that doesn't have Indy fans at or near the top.

I also can't agree with a best fan list that has the Jets listed anywhere. Are you sure you aren't confusing them with Giants fans? Back in my days as an AOLe I had some great discussions with Giants fans, before and after our two losses to them in SBs. They were far better than anyone wearing puke green.

I don't agree with that at all. Underage is underage no matter the gender.

On the other hand, back in 1983 there was a Tufts professor named William Douglas who fell hook, line and sinker for a 21 year old prostitute named Robin Benedict. She had her hooks so far in him that he totally lost it, stole thousands of dollars from Tufts and eventually murdered her. Her body was never found but he confessed to the crime. In that relationship he was the one who was in over his head, not her.

The Ravens are successful come playoff time because they dominate the trenches. I don't like Joe Flacco but when a QB is given all day to throw he's going to make plays down field

Really? I understand the emotional harm to underage girls who get molested. It seems to be the fast track to prostitution.

What happens, in general, to underage boys (as in teenage, at least in puberty) who have a sexual experience with an older woman? Are they really harmed emotionally or are they now one of the "cool kids" who lost his virginity in high school?

I think Lewis is the only HC in that division I respect anymore. Maybe Pettine down the road, though.

Tomlin is the only coach in that division I respect.

Marvin Lewis can't coach.

Pettine said "he doesn't like cheaters" in reference to brady.

harbaugh whines.

does anyone remember a few years ago when suggs deliberately went for brady's knee? brady got out of the way in the nick of time, thankfully.

The Ravens are a dirty team, especially Terrell "Horse lips" Suggs. It's amazing to me he's not in jail. Then there's Harbaugh, the lying hypocrite.
I feel bad for their fans, they have a tough and competitive team but it must be tough to cheer for them seeing how they conduct themselves.
Have you been to Baltimore?

If not, they fit right in... and the folks there typically have two jerseys in the closet - one purple and black, and one burgundy and gold.

Not popular but I agree with Suggs if you want to show read option with Fragile Sam Bradford you better rethink things cause he is going to hit.

Edit:This was also confirmed by Blandino as being a legal hit and bad flag by the refs.

Not saying Im a Ravens fan (and they are dirty)but if you show run you are fair game.

At least Bradford knees were able to hold on that tackle, Suggs said he eased but in the video it doesn't look like. Cheap shot.

Then Suggs and Lewis both complained unendingly after the game that Suggs got flagged. Because they think diving at QBs' knees should be legal, I guess.

One of the many reasons today's Ravens remind me of the old Raiders is an old logo - check it out:

Oh there's no doubt about what his intention was. He clearly launched himself at Brady's knee with his shoulders and head forward. That was no accident. If I was the ref I would throw the flag too.

That's when Rodney Harrison made the skirt comment. He should have known better.

I will credit jest fans for their loyalty. It must take a lot to keep rooting for a franchise that has consistently sucked for longer than most of them have been alive. Especially when there's another team in town that wins every once in a while.

Then again maybe they're just stupid

I always thought that Tomlin was a blow hard. Another self righteous prick. I'll never forget his "where theres smoke there's fire" comment regarding Belichick/cameragate, and then a couple years later trying to trip a Ravens player who was running down the field
