Should the Patriots seriously consider signing Randy Moss back to the team?

He's done. And he's been retired a few years. And BB dumped him and never looked back.

Loved Moss here during those years and I wish him well but hopefully he doesn't come to Foxborough.
I thought BB dumped him because Moss started turning back into a head case. He had his ego under control when he got here, shows it's possible, could do it again. One thing is for certain, BB does not hold a grudge (Branch).

As for SF, he was still drawing safety help over the top leaving the middle wide open for them
 
I like to think that this is a pretty intelligent and savvy board and fandom… And then a thread like this pops up.

He most definitely was. One thing to keep in mind though is 2012 was ages ago in football years, especially for a 38 year old reciever who didn't age as gracefully as some the other all time greats. I love Randy but I dont think he really has any other aspects to his game other than that blinding speed and athleticism wich is likely gone by now. I would probably prefer him to Reggie Wayne although I'd really like to see them go young and make it work with Dobson.
 
I watched Moss in the booth during the preseason game and he will shine on that stage. He was just as enjoyable to listen to as he was fun to watch.
Then I see him in a direc tv commercial what!
He is shining right now and I believe if he wants to play he would be on a team im not doubting his love for the game and god given athleic and natural ability.
I question whether he wants to take a hit, make a block, stick to a routine and schedule, study a playbook, as well as can he give up his body week in and week out.
Or would he rather be in a booth make appearances tease us with comeback talks and help out young players and live his life.
However if the pursuit for a supebowl is still in him then I expect he would sign with Denver, Indy, Green Bay, Baltimore, Seattle, Dallas or us.
We would make the most sense knowing the system and Brady.
However I think he stays retired and he is just teasing us as Moss so many times has.
 
Saw him doing his NFL gig ... he was pretty horrible last year. He looks real good right now ....

I guess he's worked very hard at it hopefully we'll see even more of him ... a great football mind.
