Asking for your support

Should the Patriots seriously consider signing Randy Moss back to the team?

  • No thanks. I'd pass him

  • Sign him! Bring back the beast!

  • It depends.... but I say give him a shot!

We got rid of him because he was done. And, that was five years ago.

Might as well sign Jerry Rice.

This isn't a serious discussion IMHO.
Being an NFL player requires a crazy amount of blood, sweat and tears. It's allowing your body to be beaten and to train/play through the beating to almost an obsessive degree.
An approx. 40 year old multi millionaire who has been sleeping to when he wants, eating what he wants, traveling when he wants for several years is VERY unlikely to want to put in the obsessive time needed to be effective.

Randy Moss is trending on twitter in the Boston-area

I just saw Randy Moss Direc tv commercial im getting MossItis im intrigued would like to see what he could do.

Thaddeus Moss could be a Patriot in a few years ... then Randy can come back as a fan.

I really loved the Moss era, and look back fondly on his time here. However, the old days can't be relived. If he wants to do something, he can come here and teach Dobson how to be the next great Marshall WR in the NFL.

I think it's worth kicking the tires on, as much of a diva as he can be he was a model citizen for 95% of his time in NE. If he can still play at even 65-70% of his tenure in NE he's worth checking out

Randy Moss as third option behind Edelman and Gronk makes sense if he can still run. Knows the system, knows Tom. Limited reps to keep him fresh. Scary...

No. You can sometimes do that in sports or at positions where "accuracy" is a big part of what they do -- QBs, kickers, baseball players of any kind, maybe dead-eye shooters in basketball.

But I don't see it at WR.

My Moss jersey will be back in style!

Randy Moss may only be 65% of the Moss we had before, but I would love to see it.

Single coverage..... Except for Revis or Sherman.... I like his chances.

Double coverage..... If he draws double coverage..... He will take the top off the defense & imagine Gronk & Edelman production if Moss draws double coverage.
