MMQB covered the 2014 rookie symposium and Robert Klemko wrote about part of it when Carter and Sapp were speaking but neglected the "blame it on the crew part"

@RobertKlemko

>>>>But Bubba is just an appetizer for the symposium’s main course. Hall of Famers Cris Carter and Warren Sapp have agreed, for a small fee, to lead the last panel discussion. They are introduced on the big screens with a video montage;
.........
Carter: “There's no hiding crimes anymore. Everybody is TMZ.”

Sapp: “Even the ones in your crew.”

Carter: “Say that again, bro.”

Sapp: “Even the ones in your crew.”
Good question for Peter King. I just responded to the tweet where he called Carter's comments a disgrace.

And troy vincent paid them to appear, he must have been "generally aware" of what they were going to say. I mean, he even changed the format to bring in habitual offenders as speakers.

But I am sure that Vincent, stopped payment on the checks and called both of them in for a meeting with Gooddel and Pash, as soon as he heard these comments.

Oh, that is right, the video file is probably lost in Roger's desk along with the rice Video

The NFL released a statement that "The league's player engagement staff immediately expressed concern about the comment to Cris. The comment was not repeated in the 2014 AFC session or this year's symposium"

So the NFL is admitting that they knew what Carter told the rookies last year and still invited him back to talk to this year's rookies?

Wow

CC's retort is an insult to our intelligence. He didn't realize how he sounded?

The Cry. Part 2⃣ on Mike and Mike at 6 am tomorrow.

cant wait for the save your job tears to flow.

Someone on Twitter noticed the quotation mark at the end of his tweet. Copy and paste apology from PR manager?

bad advice. Every person should take responsibility for his own actions. I’m sorry and I truly regret what I said that day.

Not invited but paid.

Right. Despite the "immediate concern" by the league, they asked Carter back and left his comments up on their website for over a year. They were clearly super concerned about this.

On a tangent, it just occurred to me that if Chris Borland didn't retire after one season (which is unusual) and the league doesn't decide to be jerks (which isn't unusual) by demanding a post-career drug test, no one would ever hear this story and link it back to Carter. It's a pretty amazing set of circumstances.

...dit dit dit dit dit ...breaking news from ESPN....after a secret year long investigation by Ted Wells, Roger Goodell has suspended Tom Brady FOREVER from playing in the NFL. Chris Mortensot has learned from sources that Brady was "generally aware of and more probably than not a participant" in the scheme by Jared of Subway commercial fame's repeated solicitations of underage teenage girls. Goodell reports that Wells has found Brady's appearance at a Subway shoppe in Malden, where he purchased numerous sandwiches for members of the Patriots, was also the staging area for soliciting underaged teenaged girls,under the guise of "signing autographs". Lester Munson has immediately tweeted out that "in my forty years as a lawyer and reporting about the NFL, THIS is the most heinous ,egregious act by any player in NFL history!"
Already, numerous NFL personalities have taken to the media denouncing Brady's scurrilous actions and fully back the commissioner's decision to BAN Mr. Brady for life.

Mark Brunnell was asked about this brewing scandal and between tears told ESPN's S.L. Anders.."I've got daughters that age!..*whimper*..*sniffle*... Brady will burn in hell for this!!!!" When told he has only one daughter who is 23 years old and a beauty pageant queen traipsing across stages in skimpy bathing suits he cried "SEE!!!! Who's going to protect HER virginity from this despicable Tom Brady's attempt to fix her up with this Jared behind my back?? WHO?? I agree, the commissioner should hang Brady and give ME a lifetime supply of tissues and sanitary napkins..*sob*..snuffle*...*gurkle*...

meanwhile in another segment Ray Lewis just snorted when Chris Carter said "Ray, see man?...this stuff just makes you wanna kill a man!"..Kurt Warners wife, Mandy Manface then jumped into the fray by asking her husband Kurt to get Marshall Faulk on the phone but Kurt was too busy trying to dial the microphone.."hey ...is this thing on?..I can't get a dial tone.."

The NFL and Goodell, burned by their previous attempts to nail Tom Brady aka "Lucky Luciano's Unknown Grandson", has made sure they get the proper venue for their appeal of this decision by filing a brief titled "It's All True Just Because" in Australian federal district court situated in Kangaroo Junction, just west of Darwin in the Northern Territory. Asked for HIS take, Mike Kensil only replied "we got that sum***** in the loo..he hasn't a Buckley's chance of getting out of this one!"

Chris Carter, you have one new notification on Facebook. Ray Lewis liked your post about "blame it on the crew....."
