Guys, I dont like what is going on here. Chris Carter is severely mentally challenged and molests puppets. Give the guy a ****ing break already. He cant help it if he is the dumbest ex athlete alive.

The rookies will be so disappointed if this kerfuffle causes the cancellation of Warren Sapp's highly anticipated lecture titled "Guys, Just Pay the Hooker".

Not to fear! It's been announced that next year's symposium will be led by Bill Cosby and big Colts fan Jared from Subway.

Too bad most of the attention is on CC's stupid comments. This guy's a moron, no surprise he says something like that.

Most of the vitriol should be pointed at those who know better and are in the position of responsibility: Troy Vincent, Jeff Pash, and Roger Goodell. What did these three stooges think would happen by giving CC and Sapp a stage for the impressionable?

This post is wrong....but funny.

Add Hilary Clinton's symposium on email server security. :)

Damn it, how did I miss this obvious lie from either the NFL or Carter.
Florio has pointed it out. If the league expressed their concern to Carter, how can Carter just now realized that his comments were wrong after watching the video? How did the NFL put it up on the website for over 14 months? Who is telling lies here?

The only people that this is lost on are the 32 votes that matter.

After 8 months of this nonsense, I think the voices here are just enjoying the moment.

I honestly can't wait to hear Dan Lebatard on this tomorrow. ....for anyone who don't listen to him his show is pretty funny but more important he doesn't seem to be afraid to bash people for this stuff, he's been really hard on Goddell. .....surprised he still works for espn...

C'mon, you know the lead story monday will be that the league will be looking into the possibility that BB put him up to it, Wells will be interviewing some of the ex-cons that BB and Jim Brown used to counsel back in Cleveland to see if BB encouraged them to become a potential fall guy if the need arose.

Did you see that Tennesee's helmet coms went out tonight? I'm sure BB was behind that too!

Who is going to be the fall guy for CC when this hits the media? Or will it?

I have a feeling we are going to hear a new definition for "fall guy" in the next couple of days.

I'm curious who CC's fall guy was back in the day.

Radio Host Spinning:

"IF a consenting adult is willing to be a Fall Guy then why is everyone so angry?"

Nick Wright

That's a scorching hottake.

If Nick Wright commits a crime and one of his friends lies, says he really did it, and takes the punishment for him, that's acceptable? Isn't doing that a crime itself?

MMQB covered the 2014 rookie symposium and Robert Klemko wrote about part of it when Carter and Sapp were speaking but neglected the "blame it on the crew part"

@RobertKlemko

>>>>But Bubba is just an appetizer for the symposium’s main course. Hall of Famers Cris Carter and Warren Sapp have agreed, for a small fee, to lead the last panel discussion. They are introduced on the big screens with a video montage;
.........
Carter: “There's no hiding crimes anymore. Everybody is TMZ.”

Sapp: “Even the ones in your crew.”

Carter: “Say that again, bro.”

Sapp: “Even the ones in your crew.”
