Once Gronk retires we'll have had the best QB, TE, and K to play and in their primes. So whatevs if Colts has Vinitieri for the last 10 years of his career.

In 2 games vs the pats last season Wayne cried "mercy" before the second half....

I think the whole team did. Why single him out?
At least they showed up vs. crying mercy the week before and tanking a playoff game so they didn't have to go to big bad Gillette.

At least Reggie didn't shoot a guy like good ole Starvin Marvin.

Which brings up a valid question.... how will he do playing most of his games in a stadium that doesn't have a thermostat?

It's called Manning syndrome

Pagano thinks differently than most Colts fans, who are contemplating setting bonfires with #87 jerseys and claiming that Belichick is just CHEATING by getting him to get Colts game planning ideas! Like the plan to get run over by Blount and blowed up by Gronk. Those sure are complicated plans!

Anyone else taking no news as good news?

I'm just sick of the news cycle.. You find out about a guy visiting and you're like "omg can't wait!", then you end up getting no news all day and it just drives you crazy not knowing if it's really happening or not...

I'll be surprised if he's on the roster week one, but I could see him as a game 2 addition if he hasn't signed anywhere else since, as I recall, there are contract issues that come into play with a vet playing a full season.

Not for nothing, but the Patriots at one point in recent years they also signed Torry Holt, John Lynch and Tim Tebow. None of those three made it out of training camp.

Let's give it a week or two before proclaiming Reggie Wayne needs to catch xx passes for xxx yards in order for the Patriots to be successful this season.

Since I doubt he'll make anything even resembling significant money I think they'll go the other way, bring him in now and figure out if he has anything left in the tank over the course of the next 2 weeks.

Waiting to see if the Patriots sign Reggie Wayne or if he goes over to Green Bay...

wait a minute..what about Wayne Newton?????????????????????????
