I doubt he'll be around to babble much longer. This looks like it has caught on fire.
NFL will call ESPN tomorrow asking them to suspend him for a week and then he will be back.

One internet to rule them, one internet to find them all, one internet to bring them in and in the light bind them to their hypocrisy.

Would a DA consider this the NFL trying to obstruct justice?

Oh Wow! heading over to ESPN to read about it.

Now if PFT picks this up , it will be awesome.Lets see if the commish says ignorance is not an excuse and punishes vincent...haha yeah right.
It was and it is :D

they should have this on " come on man "...
carter's a dink.

and wtf is warren sapp doing? lmao

So we can assume that Goodell and the NFL leadership where generally aware of the context of CC's speech, and by allowing it to be said were complicit in the premise that having a 'fall guy' was endorsed by the league!
I would say this is more probable than not. ;)

Carl Banks is not a fan of CC's suggestion. Not at all.

I'm not sure about that. This is pretty big.

This should be bigger than deflategate. Look at young people nowadays. Misguided, lost, most of these guys are in the league and came from wretched backgrounds, some both parents in jail and this is the advice a symposium shaped in the vision of the executive vice president of football operations is giving to them?
The nation is not outraged over this? If I wake up tomorrow and those stupid morning shows are not talking about this, I will know that we are ****ed up and all doubt will be permanently removed.

Found this on another board:

And what's really funny - NFL teams themselves basically have 'fixers' on staff with local law enforcement ties/contacts who can and will obstruct justice to keep a player out of trouble.

There are a whole lot of messes we never hear about. And every NFL team has the position on staff.
Is that something you know for a fact, or are you speculating? I know politicians have agents like that working for them, but never heard of a sports team employing them.

Story by ESPN on the Steelers 'fixer' and the shadiness of it:
http://espn.go.com/espn/otl/story/_...ty-chief-dual-role-sheriff-officer-questioned

NFL players say when there's trouble, the first person they call (and who they are told to call) is their team's 'security guy:'
http://nypost.com/2008/12/07/nfl-dont-call-cops-call-us/

Private fixer who seems to have various NFL clients:
http://www.mensjournal.com/magazine/the-woman-who-bails-out-the-nfls-bad-boys-20141114

Bill Polian questions Goodell's claim he didn't see the Rice videotape on air while talking about the NFL's security teams ability to protect the integrity of the shield and make sure the league stays out of the headlines:
https://sports.vice.com/en_us/artic...team-is-an-extralegal-[inappropriate/removed]

The NFL's elaborate, FBI like security apparatus:
https://www.washingtonpost.com/spor...5949aa-3b4a-11e4-8601-97ba88884ffd_story.html

All of these stories make clear that the first job of these employees is to 'contain' a mess. Meaning, keep it out of the press and make sure law enforcement doesn't get involved.

wow...

Roger Goodell has just released a follow up statement. Says since Robert Kraft has leaked this to the media, the Patriots will be docked their 1st round picks in 2017 and 2018.

Lester Munson called Goodell's statement an unassailable document of justice that'll hold up in any court of law.
