@RapSheet: The initial diagnosis on #Packers WR Jordy Nelson is a torn ACL, source said. Horrible news. Awaiting MRI results to confirm.

Dallas or Seattle just punched a ticket to SB50. That's huge.

That offense goes from #1 in league to not that scary.

Rapaport just tweeted that Nelson tore his ACL. yikes

If Reggie Wayne don't leave without a contract, we know where he's headed

That's some bad luck for these teams to lose such important players...

Man that sucks. I like the Packers, nobody hate able on that team. Nelson is one of my favorite Packers. I wish him a speedy recovery, hopefully he comes back 100%.

I hate Dallas and Seattle, much rather see GB in the SB. Loved when they beat the Steelers a few years ago.

GB's full starting offense has scored 10 points (while giving up 2 on a safety) in 2 full quarters of the preseason, wonder if some of their fans are up in arms.

I would tell those fans to R E L A X relax.

Just heard that on the game braid cast, tough break for Nelson and Rodgers. that is his binky!

Bro, listen I understand your point. Walking off under one's own strength does not always mean it is not something long-term. I get it. However, it's always got to be somewhat more encouraging to watch a player walk off own his own, IN GENERAL, that not. I'm not even speaking specifically of Jordy Nelson particular post.

I don't know. I remember that moron on the Bears, after the Pats were blowing them out, after celebrating a sack while still being down 50-20 or something like that, jumped in the air to celebrate, and landed funny like Nelson, and blew out his knee. Nelson came down really strangely. Also, maybe I'm just getting old, but why the hell was Nelson jumping for that pass. If he just stays on his feet he catches the ball, spins and gets more yards. Seems like guys jump to catch passes headed right to their hands.

I wonder sometimes if they're skittish when they know a defender is coming up from behind, don't want to plant and turn only to get their knee blown up on a low tackle they had no idea was coming.

That's not typically Green Bay's style though. Expect them to look in house.

I agree, Jeff Janis is a poor man's Jordy Nelson. Plus not many know about him, so he could sneak up on guys.

Side notes: Bud Dupree looks good for the Steelers as does Sammie Coates. Steelers have SO MANY good young receivers, geez.

I doubt they replace Nelson with a FA. Much more likely that their passing game gets adjusted to revolve primarily around Cobb and Davante Adams, with Jeff Janis running some of Nelson's routes in a significantly deemphasized role.
