Ash, I believe that it was reported by Jeff Howe (could've been someone else) that Dobson has felt healthy enough to practice and play for a little while now, but the coaching staff has held him out anyway for his sake. Jeff (or whoever) speculated that this is the way the team would treat a "lock" player - if he was on the roster bubble, they would be putting him out there to see what they've got. No sense in holding back a guy you don't even know if you're keeping.

I love Josh Hill he knocked spencer out vs cowboys and turned to catch a TD I think hes really good

He's been very impressive, not many bright spots this game but him, Harper, Gibson and Jimmy G have been good

Has looked really quick when catching the all and running. Had a one handed grab and has blocked well. Made a real case to be on the 53 today.

Great strategy.....hold him out so he can pull another muscle etc week one.....sorry don't have any confidence that this guy will ever stay healthy and make an impact here

According to Howe, Dobson could go but the Pats are holding him out.

BB isn't gonna hold out a guy on the bubble because of precautionary reasons.
