OT: NFL NETWORK down for all of MA

Just for off the phone with charter, apparently a fiber was cut, and all of MA is has been without NFLnetwork since 720. No idea how long it'll take to be fixed.

In working on getting ESPN to short out using Mark Brunell's tears.

Comcast's NFLN feed unaffected.

You can do a lot with that. Substitute the NFL logo, Colts logo, Ravens. A Pic of Fraudger, Nash, Violin etc.

Shula, Brunnell.....the list is endless

I recently switched to Direct TV, last Thursday nite got my popcorn ready and sat down to watch the Pats... the NFL blacked out the game in our area, so switched to a local affiliate that was supposed to be carrying the game(Channel 12) and they were carrying Jeopardy.. so no game available.

Tried to call Direct TV and all I got was a computer, then I emailed them and got a response they would get back to me in 24 hours.. 4 days later after another email, they said they did not understand the problem and some crap about blackouts etc...

I was f.... ing livid as have missed a game in decades... however had to miss this game, and listened to the first half on the radio.. I keep emailing Direct TV and they have me on ignore, I think. It will cost $440 to get out of the bogus Direct TV contract.. Direct TV sux.

I have been with DirecTV for 19 years. Three days ago I got my bill with the automatic renewal of the NFL package. But at the same time they raised my Premium plan by $42 a month . I called and they said my previous discounts had run out. I asked for new discounts the person I spoke with said there aren't any at this time. I said is this a reflection of ATT buying DirecTV? No reply from them. I cancelled the NFL package, will go to sports bars and I reduced my Premium plan to a basic plan they had no problem with that it took me 3 conversations with 3 different agents but it got done and they didn't care. Of course, I told them I would change to Dishnet or the local cable company who has gotten better in the last 19 years. **** DirecTV.
