This is starting to reach major media outlets. Just got a notification on my Apple watch/iPhone from Yahoo Sports about it.

BSPN to chime in, in 3.......2.......1
Yyyeeepp! There's no such thing as a small story about the Patriots that would normally wither and die with any other team. Time to bust out the microscope to analyze this story and beat it like a rented mule on Sports Center 24/7.

Is all this stuff fueled by paranoia envy and stupidity I mean what the hell is going on with this.next they will be reporting on an inmate in a local asylum claims god knows what

A buddy of mine who is a big Manning fan just text me and other buddies about this. My reply was this picture:

This is the result of having the greatest defensive mind in NFL history running your show.
Manning is paranoid wondering how BB is always outsmarting him.
Well they cheat; obviously. What else could explain the consistent beatings?

Personally, I think this says more to Manning's paranoia than anything the Patriots did. Of course, the Patriots haters will always take this as proof the Patriots bugged other teams' locker rooms.

Seems more like another NFL distraction leak to get focus off them.

On one hand it should be noted, that Peyton did NOT make any accusations against the Pats. He was a 3rd party reference by his sad sack coach, who also had a lot of trouble beating the Patriots on a consistent basis. He should be ashamed of dragging in his star player into an the organized smear campaign that ESPN has been running./
.
On the OTHER hand, Manning needs to make a public statement either justifying what his coach said, or condemning it. If he believes the Pats were "bugging" the dressing room he ought to own it. If not, he needs to come to the aid of his "good friend" and dismiss it for what it is.

Dungy should know better to be throwing around unfounded rumors against the Pats at this time. If he was a man he should name names, or make an apology. As it is, he is already starting to back away from it as we saw in his tweet earlier. But you can't throw a bomb on second and make a weak backtrack after.

But not to worry. ESPN will issue an apology at 1am in 2022

Just more league planted innuendo to balance the scales of justice! In this league, BS and truth are the same thing. It's just a matter of what you tell and when you tell it.
But feel free media to report any second or third hand account you hear!

What a little ****bag. He knew exactly what would happen when he said it.
Well..then why doesnt he say its not true , same with piping in noise?

I love how "TOM BRADY WILL ACCEPT SUSPENSION" was splashed all over Yahoo news yesterday and today its "MANNING SUSPECTED PATRIOTS". All people see are the headlines.

But then, they've got Dan Wetzel who's penned some very Patriots friendly articles.

At Denver Broncos training camp in Englewood, Colorado, Manning was asked about whether he thought the Patriots listened in on opponents in Foxborough and had a lighthearted response.

"I think there's kind of a rule that when you're still playing, what goes on in a locker room kind of stays in a locker room,'' Manning said after Thursday's practice.

"When you stop playing, you write a book, you get commentary. Everything's kind of, you know, seems to be told. I'm still playing so I don't really talk about what goes on in a locker room. And I won't write a book right away so you won't find out what goes on in a locker room after I stop playing. Those are kind of the things that sort of stay in house.''

Now Peyton is known for being a pretty intelligent guy, right?

So if Peyton thought the locker was bugged, just say stuff to fak'em out or at least to see if the Pats react to it. ;)

So why didn't Peyton put his bugged locker room suspicions to the test? Either....
  1. He's not as smart as we thought.
  2. He knows the locker room was not bugged.
