Did I get screwed? - Brady jersey

Hey guys, new poster here who's been lurking for a few weeks.

I bought a Brady jersey on eBay a few days ago (for $54.99) and was very happy with it. But I'm just noticing something that differs from the actual Patriots away jersey and wondering if I was tricked... the description said it was authentic and it came with Nike/NFL tags.

When you take a look at the pics, I noticed two things:
1. There is no blue stripe down both sides
2. There is no #12 on the shoulders

I don't remember them ever wearing all-white uniforms without the blue and also without the numbers on the shoulders. Is this a fake?












UPDATE: Thanks to you guys pointing out even more inconsistencies to me I opened up a case with eBay, which upset the seller very much.

In a word...YES! The collar is not plain white. It is blue and silver.

However, that one would be preferable to me than the one they wear now, with the blue side panel. I do like the current collar though. Their current uniform needs a serious redesign, especially the road white one.

Yeah, that's what I was afraid of. I can't believe I didn't notice right away that the blue stripe wasn't there.

It feels just like my other Nike jersey though and it came with official tags... the NFL logo is on it in all the correct areas and the NFLPA logo.

How many stars did the seller have? May be a clue as to authenticity of article, unless he got duped also

Yeah, that looks like a fake. Just report the seller, dispute with Paypal, should be able to get your money back. Paypal is notoriously pro-buyer on this stuff.

Didn't even notice this! Guess I really did get fooled on this one!

The thing I hate about the current 2015 uniforms is that ugly new logo. I will never buy a jersey with that on it. I like the cursive font much more.

lol that is an awful awful fake. There are many good looking fakes out there so you really got screwed.

Do a chargeback on paypal or something.

Awful fake. Looks like the 21.00 Kmart version. Still a nice jersey though.

Better than paying 250.00 for the above.

Btw there are some almost identical fakes out there. Just harder to find the Nike ones just yet.

Yeah there's nothing wrong with fakes as long as you get a good one. Especially because the money doesn't go to the NJFL.

you ought to report it. Ebay can help you get your $ back.

I have reported it. I'm now just ordering a jersey through Patriots.com. The 2014 one, of course.

Does anyone else hate the new Patriots logo? That font is not good
