It makes no sense to make ANOTHER concession when the other side has not budged an inch.

It's like you want to sell a bike for $200. Somebody offers you $50.

Do you negotiate like this?

Because you actually know how the settlement negotiations are going besides some random tweets and articles. Brady is represented by very competent counsel. Trust them. Don't make snap judgments based on media reports.

Who are these "people?"
People outside NE have tried, convicted, sentenced and thrown away the key already. So, nothing will change there.
The people who will vote Brady into the HOF on the first ballot won't be worried about this.
The people who will write the history of this in 15--20 years will have seen through it for the fraud it was.

I haven't made up my mind about this "proposal" or whatever it is or isn't, but I'm not worried about what "people" think other than the people who will put him in Canton and the people who will write this history when the dust has settled.

That's a little different than what he said before and more plausible. If legit maybe his source has some connection to the NFL PA.

guys if the judge comes out and rules or puts in his ruling that brady did nothing wrong then it's a big win for us. if brady caves for a 1 game suspension, the judge won't render his verdict on anything. it is particularly important that a neutral party reviews the case and calls it BS.

if this is true. it is extremely disappointing. I would rather see brady get the full four games then back down one inch. I don't care how it would affect the season. the outcome of this phoney concocted scam to me is far more important than the season itself.

He doesn't. He is using the attention deflategate gets to get more followers. And is slowly changing his position so he does not get exposed.

He has 80% fake twitter followers, no connection to the industry and gives seminars. He wants more followers. He came out bold initially, and is slowly changing his course to fall in line with the mainstream reporting to trick people into thinking he is legitimate. Pretty obvious to me.

Perhaps "people" was sloppy. I guess I'm talking about if you're Brady, and pride. If I'm Brady (and we all have a level of identification w/him going on, why else would we care), I want to be able to say, I never willingly accepted a suspension for something I didn't do.

Per source, no material terms were offered during Tuesday's settlement talks on Brady. Parties still stuck on facts (re: guilt) of the case.

I'm thinking this was yet another false leak by the NFL to make Brady look guilty.
