You could argue the Eli had the best year of his career in 2014.Listen I know this is a bash train, and far be it for me to pull the cord to get off but that rankings is terrible.
Joe flacco has one thing going for him, he can chuck a ball, and he won a title because of it.
Eli has been pretty average lately, but he still has two titles.
rg3 is the worst
Vick can't even start over Geno smith
Geno smith is a borderline bust right now.
You put two superbowl winners above guys that can't even get teams to .500.
/puts on dislike ******ant suit.

That not necessarily mean he could be the highest paid player in the league.
AgreedAs a pats fan, I support this!
And Rodney's inability to make that one crucial tackle--and I loved Rodney.Prior injuries to the Patriots had as much to do with him winning those titles as anything he did on the field.
Agreed, I don't think he should be either, but that's not how supply and demand works. If the giants want to keep him, they have two options, franchise him for 1 year at $25 million dollars, or sign him to a long term deal. Eli is better then half the QB's in the league, and probably better then any college QB that will be coming in the draft the next few years. That means the dude is going to get PAID, if the giants want it to be them they have to pony up.
We really don't know how lucky we have been to have Brady all these years.

I see what you're going for, but for most teams winning more than half of your games and getting to the playoffs 50% of the time would be something they'd take. Should he be #1 paid? No. But there are probably 15 - 17 teams who would take him over what they have. Including 2 (or maybe 3) of 4 in the afce.
I thought he had retired after 2011
