Man, I wonder if all these topics will be included in this doc.

The last little caveat Bill added to his famous line made me literally laugh out loud (and he had a slight scoff too) :D

Yea I'd like to think NFL Films is sealed off from the evilness of the NFLN.

They do a good job.

Deflategate wasn't mentioned at all in 2014 NFL Yearbook: New England Patriots

I've watched this 6 times. Can't wait.

Interesting comment from BB, "When I looked over there, something didn't look right.".

My question is....what? The sideline? The Seahawks personnel package? What exactly gave BB the spidey sense to not call the timeout?
Who are the two guys who speak before Ernie Adams?

Looking at the coaching roster, I'm guessing it's Josh Boyer and Brendan Daly.

If an America's Game version of the 2014 NEP is even done at all.

Maybe, perhaps, after this comes out, the masses of idiot haters will start to understand that there is NO magic formula that BB has developed. It's not the so call "illegal" taping. It's not deflated footballs. It's not ANY set of advantages that's different than any other organization has available to them.

It's really quite simple. So simple in fact the mediots, haters, and other assorted morons, can't grasp it. The New England Patriots simply WORK harder, and smarter than their peers. And by consistently doing so, his teams are BETTER coached, BETTER prepared, MORE focused, and make FEWER mistakes than any other team in the league.

People tend to forget that the league has gotten what they want. Parity EXISTS in the NFL. Any team is capable of beating any other team on a given Sunday (Thursday, Monday and Saturday) The margin of error is razor thin in every game, so IF your team is better prepared, better coached and more focused, that can make the difference.

We've been lucky to have been able to see the fruits of this program, though sometime even we fail to fully appreciate it. ;) The key play of the season was a perfect example of what all that work means. We saw it so well in the trailer. The HC kept his head and got what he wanted from the other side. All the assistants had their men ready for a situational defense that they hadn't used ONCE the entire year. All the players knew their assignments, and exactly what to expect based on the formation they saw.

If the play was a run, by formation the Pats had a 9 men in the box and Seattle had only 7 men to attack them (one of the reasons that a pass ACTUALLY was the right call vs that particular D vs THAT offensive formation). 50% of the time that pass is completed. 48% of the time it's simply incomplete. There was about the same chance that Lynch would have fumbled the ball as there was for Butler to pick it.

It pissed me off sometimes when people (especially the "experts" who should know better) focus too much on the play selection and not enough on the EXECUTION of Butler and Browner in making that pick happened. Seattle didn't "give" the Pats that game; the Pats TOOK it from them. But I'm rambling off topic here. Let me get back to it.

The Pats always are in the top 100 in most of the key stats like scoring D, turnover ratio, red zone D, red zone O, and scoring O; even in those years where they aren't top 10 in a lot the more sexy stats, especially individual ones. I'm REALLY hoping that when fans see this NFL films production, they will better understand that NONE it is done with "blue skies and mirrors". It's simple hard work by BOTH the players and coaches, and great leadership and direction from BB and his staff.

Maybe THAT's why BB allowed such a close look from NFL films at this particular time?

BETTER coached, BETTER prepared

That. In addition, I'd say "better situationally". They don't panic, and usually don't do dumb things.

Yes, Tom. When you playing "chess' with 22 players involved, and are trying to coordinate and get all of them on the same page. In a game when so many things can go wrong on any given play. It often DOES come down to who makes the fewest mistakes, rather than who make the most plays.

In recent history, most of the time, it's the Patriots who wind up making the fewest errors...and thus winning over 70% of their games for the last 14 consecutive years, while most of their peers can barely string together 3 such years

You two sound like a Papa John's ad. :p

Who are the two guys who speak before Ernie Adams?

DB Coach Josh Boyer and DL coach Brendan Daly.

check this teaser out for all those who participated in this.

Correct me if I am wrong....but I believe BB moved on from "Do Your Job" to the new version of "Do Your Job Well". He uttered those words in the past 60ish days. It's an upgrade.
