So I know you all are dying to hear about it.

I was actually very impressed. It's really nice. The food was good. I don't even drink often but I thought the best part was the outdoor bar not much more than 10 yards behind the goal post.

Ok maybe I lied the best part is that I doubt there are many spots in the whole country that get you closer to the action. You are about 5 yards frome the field.

Ok maybe I lied one more time because with out a doubt the best part was meeting my hero Joe Andruzzi! Really nice guy obviously he was there to sign and be friendly but we didn't know he was gonna be there and we were just walking by and he actually started the conversation with us. I got to joke with him that his family was the real the Forrest Gump with the football career and all the hero stuff. He laughed at it but after walking away I hope he knew I wasn't referring to the dumb part.

We went back to our seats for the start of the game but I am very much planning on watching a game from down there. Or most of a game.

It should be a great thing for when my father gets Clients tickets and my buddy in 300 is going to love it because if we are in there he can be in our seats.

I think we will keep it after the season but we will see how the year goes. if we do keep 300 buddy might have to kick in.

You could always tweet Mr. Andruzzi, and explain the Gump comparison.

Thanks. It looked nice on TV and you can't get much closer to the action unless you have front row seats at Fenway right off the dugout.

Question for you as someone who was at the game (I can't bear the Game Day threads, if I reacted every time someone said the sky was falling, I'd spend the game under my dining room table): what was the fan reaction to Kraft either when he was walking on the sidelines or when there were shots of his box on the stadium screens? Thanks.

How can you get those seats and what do they go for? Do you have to be a season ticket holder to be able to get them?

You have to be a season ticket holder and buy a membership, so essentially you have two tickets one for Optum, one for game. The place is awesome, someone is going get a ball in their nachos someday,

The team doesn't sell access on an individual game basis but wouldn't be surprised if someone sells theirs on eBay.

It is expensive like 1300 a ticket for the season. Not including your regular seat.

I think he got it he laughed but the thought crossed my mind later. I don't tweet so oh well.

BTW it's Optum not Optimum.

It's very nice you enjoyed yourself, but that thing is an abomination. It looks like the food court of a shopping mall where thousands of seats once held rabid fans representing home-field advantage. The noise factor just dropped by more than half. You look down at any given moment and people there aren't even watching the game! They're sitting at tables chatting, drinking, etc. I can't wait for a football to come flying in and bean some idiot with his back turned who's ordering a drink from his waitress. Terrible, terrible move by the Krafts.

Wait! There is an opium club at Gillette Statium? When did opium become legal?

Oh! You said Optimum....
