Awesome idea from a PFT commenter :D

I will be monumentally disappointed if at some point this season there isn’t a Patriots touchdown celebration where Brady and the receiver pretend to inspect the ball, squeeze it, mime like they’re sticking a gauge in it, and then nod to each other and give an emphatic thumbs up.

They need to mock the entire league this year. Winning isn't enough. They need to humiliate their opponents and Goodell in the process.

Let's wait until this case is over OK. No pissing anyone off until Judge Berman rules. Then feel the ball all you want.

If Brady wins this, or something similar, will happen. Hopefully often with increasing degrees of silliness for each time.

I'd suggest running to the ref rubbing your eyes like a baby throwing a tantrum after the pretend measurement.

Take that one step father and do it in front of the Colts bench in indy.

They should have grade school level science trivia questions on the jumbotron all season and call it "Are you smarter than an NFL Exec?"

I just want to see them whip the other teams' asses on the field, 2007 style. If they can do that, it will say a lot about their ability to win through adversity.

This isn't WWE wrestling.

It would be nice to take a late 4th quarter 10 point super bowl lead and have this happen

I hope the team does not lower itself to the NFL office level .........

I'd give them a pass if it were in the closing moments of another SB victory, but even then it'd have to be a tongue in cheek kind of reference. I highly doubt that we see anything near the type of participation suggested in the post quoted from PFT.

I'd be just fine with more acts like Rob Ninkovich's middle finger salute when he was holding the Lombardi, though :)

Moronic idea. That would be terribly childish and unclassy. It would give undue acknowledgement to something that never should've happened to begin with. Also would draw a flag for using the ball as a prop. Also would piss off BB and embarrass Kraft (though while the latter might be of lesser concern it still shouldn't happen). Thank goodness Brady is above letting something like this cross his radar.

Eh, tired of deflate gate. Just run up the score instead.

Take the ball put it on the ground and pretend to pump it up like a bicycle

They should do nothing and act like they have been there before.. just like they always have.

This is about winning, not about theater..
