I think that our QB's looked awful. I though that our 3rd string OL played OK opposite GB's first string defense, a minority view I know.

When one sees the stats, one realizes that Boyce was indeed dropping a pass very, very often. Some of the passes weren't perfect, but Boyce was awful.

There were lots and lots and lots of players out (23?). I think that the QB's would have looked much, much better with Edelman available in the first half and Tyms or Dobson in the second.

I don't know what Boyce IS but I know he's NOT an NFL caliber starting WR.

Maybe a KR. He certainly has no business as a WR on this team.

I doubt we could even trade him but it's worth a try. We should just cut our losses and move on. I'd rather have Krause or Harper on the practice squad at this point.

surprised he wasn't cut loose last year (i guess he was but still came back on PS).

He has no value. Maybe one decent run back on kick off. There are other better players. Move along.

They cut him last year. They'll cut him again- soon.

I noticed two drops: first one a high, but catchable, pass from Brady and another on a pass from Garoppolo where he jumped to catch it over a defender. Then, there was the interception where he could have hooked back more or been more physical in fighting for the ball. Other than that, there were several bad throws including a few where he was open and the pass was late/underthrown by Garoppolo. Not a stellar performance by any means, but his speed is intriguing and I'd give him another pre-season game.

The Brady drop was bad. The jump ball that he dropped was a tough catch, but after a couple of drops he needed that one. I don't blame him for the int, that was Jimmy missing his throw

If I'm Boyce I get myself on a team's practice squad ... any team and see if I can be converted to a DB.
