Like i said before. taken as a whole, you can easily argue that she said video taping (not necessarily practice) is part of patriots history...and that is a fact...so if you dont agree on that then ok but thats what it is

SHE USED THE WORD 'PRACTICES'!!!!!!!!!

Obviously you are talking out of your endzone and did not watch the video.

She said the word "practices".

How much longer do you intend to waste everyone's time with your misinformation?

videotaping closed practices is vastly different than videotaping coaching hand signals in games

Saying they can reasonably be lumped together because they both involve a camera is bizarre. If I think that you have sex with your wife it would not be fair for me to say that you have sex with one-humped camels, would it? But... they are both sex, right?

Hannah storm is 53 years old. Holy smokes!

Well we know who to thank for that.

Don't complain here. Go on Twitter and shame her into correcting the record.

@ESPN

Hannah Storm: " Some would say that the filming of the practices ah, earlier, that that does qualify as cheating, which is certainly something that is part of the patriots history."

that is the direct quote. one could easily believe she is saying that it is the cheating that is something that is part of the patriots history, not necessarily related to the filming of practices... patriots were fined and docked millions and draft picks for this...so overcome that

simplify/deconvolute her sentence:

According to Hannah,

"The filming of the practices is part of Patriots history, and some would say that it (the taping of practices) DOES qualify as cheating"

She is not saying that some people think that they taped practices, she takes that to be the gospel truth.

oh lord, never said that.

You're either moving the goalposts or your reading comprehension is off. The thread is about the supposed Super Bowl walkthrough tape in 2002, not the Week 1 2007 contest against the Jets.

From sometime in the future:

To rebut the charge that Ms. Storm acted with malice or malicious intent, the counsel for ESPN pointed out that "Ms. Storm was not acting with malicious intent, she's just an idiot." Thereupon, the judge ruled in favor of the defense's motion to dismiss the case.

ok. then its not about what Hannah Storm said on ESPN this morning?

Oh, but according to you earlier, she didn't use the word 'practices' at all.

I see you've now decided to actually watch the video in question so that you could throw out more misinformation.

She used the case of filming of practices. She used those three words in that very order.

What don't you understand. It was about the false Tomase report that he and his paper publicly apologized to the Patriots for on their front page in 2008.

Everyone except you understands that.

If the Patriots taped practices then she screwed people to get where she is in the sports media business.
I'm not exactly the PC police but, there's no need to make this about her being a women. ESPN has many many men on their network that do the exact same thing.

arguably, and my argument...there are 2 parts to what she said.
1. about practices being tape. in that part she said some would say.. not her quote, just what other people might say. obviously not her own though

2. part about patriots having a history of cheating. which according to many people a fact that patriots cheated (i dont believe it). facts are not defamatory

ok. then its not about what Hannah Storm said on ESPN this morning?

It is... about the supposed Super Bowl walkthrough tapes that didn't happen. What about this are you having trouble with? The Jets tapes are totally irrelevant to the topic.

dont misquote me..i never said that. i said it wasnt used in the context of taping practice
