From ESPN (I don't give them links anymore -- you can google the text if you want to find the link):

ESPN's NFL Nation reporters and ESPN The Magazine contributors polled more than 100 players (not every player answered every question) and found a similarly sensible consensus. While 72 percent of respondents believe the Patriots were responsible for lowering air pressure of the footballs, only 16 percent said they were "upset" by it and 68 percent said they think other teams do the same thing. Sixty percent said the Patriots aren't "cheaters."

Quarterback Tom Brady's four-game suspension is too long, according to nearly 80 percent of the players. So it's no surprise that 88 percent said league discipline should not be determined solely by commissioner Roger Goodell.

Can count on one hand number of people outside New England familiar with Wells report and it's shortcomings.

Why are we still talking about this? The Patriots got a 25k fine for an attendant stepping into the bathroom with footballs. It was stupid to not know the rules, but no big deal. It's not like we're in some bizzaro world where millions were spent investigating this and record setting penalties were levied despite the investigation producing squat.

Oh I get it..."They are cheaters but they didn't cheat!" o_O

28% believe they did not even deflate the balls. That is a high number considering the propaganda machine that is the NFL office. Just wait until people put this in perspective and realize they actually did not.

players said 30% of players cheat, meaning 15 cheaters per team. But 71% said "no cheaters on my team!!"

When was the poll taken? Last week? Last month? Or last Spring?

In a related poll, 100% of NFL players said they are sick and tired of Tom Brady, Bill Belichick and the New England Patriots kicking their collective asses.

Also 80% think the punishment was too harsh. No duh, Greg Hardy almost kills his gf and threatens her with guns, 10 games get knocked down to 4 on appeal. NFL feels Brady was "generally aware" that some air was taken out of footballs, 4 games, no decrease in punishment upon appeal. That fact alone should be shoved in front of Judge Berman's face, to show how biased and ridiculous the NFL's policies on punishment are.
