So by Berman bringing up the evidence I think he was trying to show godell that he wasn't a neutral arb !

Brady's team and judge same plan, a fine for non cooperation. If NFL does not take this they get nothing. My guess is Goodell won't back down and will be happier with being able to say the court screwed us vs an I backed down

Exactly. This is not about punishing someone for cheating, but about helping Goodell's reputation. He's gone too far to turnback now.

Credit brady for not punching him. I dont know how he can stand seeing them
This made me think of a scene from the movie time bandits. As Goodel nash, pash, etc. walk past him Brady gets to punch them in the face.

Here's the stupidest thing I saw on ESPN and of course it came from Lester Munson. Linda Cohn pointed out that both Brady and Goodell would have to get on the stand and testify next week and asked, who would want that less. Munson said neither would want it more, that they both equally were afraid of testifying. What BS.

Tom Brady has already testified under oath; we know what his testimony will be. He has been crossed by the independent investigators. Goodell has not been put under oath and has been lying his ass off. Kessler will eat him alive.

How am I incorrect that he may ultimately decide deflation happened and that it is in the NFL's purview to make such decisions? He asked if there was evidence, and there was not. But that doesn't mean the procedural issues are swept away.

Especially if he believes deflation happened.

Especially if he believes that Brady as the QB was not being honest when he said he didn't notice the deflation. Berman stated flat out that it s inexplicable that Brady didn't notice the deflation.

You tell me what that means to you.

It tells me that Berman thinks you can tell a gradual deflation of 1 psi over the course of a 1/2. I think once he reflects more on it he will understand that it is pretty difficult to do so.

Whoa....is that supposed to be Brady? Yuck

The Patriots have a bigger problem than Brady's suspension. It appears that Brady was at the Gilette training room, looking for a cryo-machine for healing, and instead ended up in a transponder where his DNA was mixed with a fly. By my estimates, he only has 9 months before he is fully transformed into a humanfly, though that may be enough for him to win his 5th Super Bowl.

Then again, everyone will claim he cheated after he flies over the defense on a QB sneak for the winning TD.

This plus reports about Brady looking stoic throughout the proceedings (after meeting privately with the judge) has me pretty concerned. I hated this venue from day 1.

See, I disagree. The fact that Berman called into question the veracity of the Wells report and the lack of evidence against Brady signals that, without a settlement, the NFL is very likely to lose because they'd have no basis for the punishment. And with no basis, everything else was a farce and unwarranted..
fwiw, that's the consensus of the media outside the courthouse

I surprised that Munson didn't say that neither would testify because he still thinks there is no chance that Judge Berman would litigate this case because he doesn't want to get involved in arbitration under a CBA.
