that's all they need...they have nothing.
this whole thing is a joke.

I don't like the way Kessler is getting all worked up. It could make him look unprofessional to the judge. We all understand the cause to get more than a little emotional about this, but the lawyer in charge of making all this go away should probably be a bit more reserved.
Pretty sure Kessler knows the lines he can and cannot cross. This isn't his first rodeo.

I think this was awesome point by the judge

This was the most important exchange to the point made in my previous tweet.

Seems to me that this is The Kill Shot. Nash admits that they have no direct evidence that Brady did anything with respect to the inflation of balls for the AFC Championship game.

@PatriotsInform: Wow, Sal Pal already saying that he thinks this will be 0 for 5 for the NFL in its legal cases. Bold statement.

roger kosack sucking goodell's balls on espn.
this guy is a lap dog

next hearing in a week brady and goodell will take the stand. LOL

In the end when Tom is freed and Goodell is destroyed, it will still be madness the NFL will get away with the theft of a 1st round pick. Whatever I guess.

Yeah, I've been thinking about that the whole time. I could be the only one who believes this....I think losing a 1st round draft pick is worse than having Brady suspended for four games

On Sportscenter right now- Schefter and Sal Pal said the hearings were a big win for Brady. Schefter was inside the courtroom.

Roger Cossack saying that it wasn't a big win for Brady.

HOLD the optimism. What Berman did today was try to get people to think about their positions.
Consider "Are you right or wrong?" he seems to be encouraging. If He can lead the sides to see problems with their position maybe it will help them settle.

The next court date will be about CBA procedure violations. It probably won't matter if the balls were intentionally deflated but only the if Goodell believed they were and will focus on possible CBA procedure violations. That may not go Brady's way.
The hearing today was just to get the sides to think about their position. IMO.

OTOH, Kraft appears to disagree; apparently he felt that in the grand scheme of things, four games of Brady > a first-round pick.

[Yes, I know the argument that losing a first-round pick hurts, but it does increase the money available for resigning their own upcoming FAs.]

Frame the discussion like this:

Judge: So we are here deciding whether person A is guilty of knowing about person B possibly murdering person C. Do you have any evidence?

Prosecution: Well there's texts from half a year prior that we infer are a discussion about wanting to murder person D.

We're not f***ing talking about person D, we are talking about person C. If you want to punish over a plot to kill person D, save that for another case. That doesn't relate to this case.

Odds are that Commissioner Scheisskopf thinks the hearing went very well for the NFL and sees no need to consider a settlement.

Using the first question would be like suspending Matt Ryan because the Falcons pumped in fake noise.

I winnered you, because THIS IS EXACTLY ON POINT AS TO WHAT THIS ALL IS.

This would be punishing Matt Ryan for the Falcons pumping in crowd noise, or suspending Joe Thomas for Ray Farmer sending text messages from the press box.

go away

It's pathetic to see a billion dollar corporation cling for dear life to something so false, insignificant and minuscule that tarnishes not only their reputation, but one of their most profitable players and organizations.

Give it up. Yeah, that Patriots win a lot. Deal with it.
