Get him!
He may be of the opinion that, due to the whole Brady situation, Wells may be more inclined to settle instead of risking going to court and losing and then having that used against him in a future lawsuit from Brady.
At this point I don't think there is a single team or player that I wouldn't root for if they went after the NFL or their cronies.
Bernard Pollard and the Jets vs. the NFL and I'd wear a ****ing green jersey.
I wonder if he got some encouragement from Patriot Place?
The Boston Strangler, folks...won't even accept a tap out...
I'm on 10 cups of coffee, just did a long plane flight, and I've gotten only 3 hours of sleep in the last day. That means I'm just gettin started ...
(and btw Joker, considering your lone long unwavering voice of anti Goodell sentiment, praise from you on this subject is the highest there is ).
In movie terms, I'm Wendell "Bud" White from L.A. Confidential...I always KNEW there was something dirty about the Goodell Owl, I just wasn't smart enough to see the entire picture of corruption until the past 6 months. Fortunately, a whole bunch of Pats fans far more intelligent than I took up the gauntlet. I just pray they STICK TO IT.
THAT was the first thing that came to mind when I heard he'd filed the defamation suit so long after the report. I bet it was the emails in the Brady Revelation that would give Turner's case not only creditability, but confirmation of a pattern of behavior. Incognito (though an ass) was also badly used by the league, but I doubt you'll see a suit by him as long as he's still playing in the league.I think he didn't sue before because he might have been advised that the case wasn't strong enough, now things have changed and the timing is great for both him and Brady's team because where there's smoke there's fire.
The things he says in this interview are strong statements and these facts sound like things he can back it up because the players that also gave testimony will back him up.

Wells may feel that way, but then it's hard to explain his bizarre press conference after his report was made public and how he screamed how he was independent and has integrity and whatever BS he wanted to spew that day.
