[Merged] Local Media Clowns Making Asses of Themselves 8/7

For one of the first times in a while I listened to some of these fools on 98.5 spouting this and just laughed. I wasn't pissed. I wasn't upset. I just laughed.

I was on my way to work in the morning listening to WEEI (which is rare) and one of the D&C guys starting the news break that Gary Tanguay (who was in the studio with them) was reporting that Brady was paying off Jastremski and McNally...basically making fun of his absurdity.

Also later on 98.5 even Bertrand took a caller who began to pedal the Belichick theory, and he laughed and essentially told him to run off and make that joke of a call at 2 PM for Felger and Mazz.

Not worth taking these Felgerites seriously. Even the other (relatively reasonable) talk show hosts are just straight up mocking these new conspiracies.

I'm sure a number of local dum dums are listening and buying into it but I honestly think that the only media guy who legitimately believes in such theories is Tanguay. The others are just doing it for show.

Just a silly comment. MacNally and Jastemski have already testified. Brady has already been punished. Brady would get no more if they talked publicly. Why pay them off now? The NFL could have called them to testify, but didn't. It just doesn't make any sense.

Yeah man tanguay is an absolute joke, minihane was just going off about how he was more stupid than mazz. Say what you want about minihane but at least he doesn't get into this stupid fake conspiracy crap. It was amazing tanguay told minihane that he is wrong because his first instinct was that Brady did it when the text messages came out. So basically tanguay is saying for changing an upon discovery of significant new information it makes you wrong or something. I couldn't believe a grown man was saying this

That's Gary for you. You will not find a single media talking head in this region dumber than him. It's really not even close. MCI is substantially smarter than him which should be alarming that someone such as Tanguay is allowed to write "articles" on CSNNE.

Tanguay believes what he is saying. I know Felger doesn't and I don't think Mazz does either. Gary is legitimately challenged.

I think a lot of it is because he's a bitter idiot after not getting the play by play gig than getting fired from post game this past year. Thing that sucks is he doesn't play a good heel at all he just comes off as someone with a severe mental handicap.

Haha true. I mentioned it in another post but I was listening to D&C the other day when a caller bashed Tanguay for being bitter because he failed on the radio. Minihane interjected to correct the caller, "failed spectacularly". Loved that.

Listening to other hosts make fun of Tanguay is always a quality listen.

Minihane's stock has risen significantly for me in the past few months the way he rips on mazz and what he does to tanguay when he's sitting right next to him

Then again someone with over 10 years here suggested yesterday we just PUP some of these guys that have recently got hurt at training camp. Really? 10 years on this forum and you still have no fuking clue how PUP works?

I think Mazz is that dumb tbh but you're right about Felger. Guy isn't dumb enough to believe the **** he spews.

Tanguay is just really pissed off that he got passed on for the play by play and then got fired from the Patriots gameday radio altogether.

I think these guys would like a position at NFL Network or ESPN someday. This way they can put "spewed decade of pats hatred" on their resume.

On another note, they were making some very serious allegations on broadcast radio. They were accusing the Pats of bribery and JJ and McNally of accepting a bribe. A part of me wanted to call and let them know that they should be careful about making such allegations but the smarter part of me decided against it.

I said this last week. Boston is to good of a sports town to have to listen to clowns like tanguay, felger bogus, chb etc. so there must be a large segment of the population that are more casual football fans, they get all their news from these guys, and believe what they say. Because if the majority of pats fans were like the ones on here these azzclowns would be out of work.

I don't listen to any of it very often but caught Dale and Holley yesterday. They were great, fully supportive of Brady and the Pats. Much more enjoyable to listen to people you agree with than the other side! True for sports and politics both.
