Why didn’t Goodell call Jastremski and McNally?

Remember when Wells and the NFL were tearing Brady/Patriots a new one, because they wouldn't make McNally available one more time? If they ONLY had that ONE MORE INTERVIEW, they could crack the case?

Well, if that was true all they needed was to call him to the stand for 15 minutes during the appeal. The NFL did not call him. That proves that this was another ruse by the NFL.
No kidding. Multiple phone calls. Multiple cross-examniations. Cell phones records, email records.

Neither one of them caved in.

Maybe....just maybe they are telling the truth.

I am trying to imagine (with glee) BB's reaction to being railroaded by Goodell and cronies. Do you think they wanted to take him on with virtually NO evidence at all? LOL!

They didn't call them because the so called damning text which was sent in May, “deflate and give somebody that jacket.”makes no sense in terms of deflating footballs. It makes perfect sense if you're talking to a slightly rotund friend who is trying to lose weight and give up old clothes....

Actually that phrase has been shown (actually time synced as well) to have been sent from McNally to JJ during the Green Bay Packers game where JJ is shown walking the sidelines looking bummed (I think the Packers just scored) holding a big warmup jacket to give to a player coming off the field.

According to Tanguay on WEEI yesterday, whatever the reason was that the NFL didn't call Jastremski and McNally, it makes him suspicious that Brady deflated footballs

Yeah, I know, that makes absolutely no sense. But it's coming from a guy who really really wants to believe that Brady is guilty

Tanguay is now claiming he has a source that says McNally is bragging about how he is set for life and he firmly believes either the Pats or Brady are paying him off.

Why would anyone listen to anything Tanguay has to say other than to mock him? Easily the dumbest member of the media in Boston. If he didn't have his voice, he would be working at McDonalds right now.

A buddy of mine lives in Amherst who has a friend who knows MCNally has been told that when asked about this BS, McNally politely says, "Sorry, can't really talk about it."

I don't know for certain he is under one but it certainly sounds like it.

I am assuming he will be filing a defamation suit at least against ESPN if not the League. He has to be careful what he says and to whom no matter whether he has a confidentiality agreement or not. He has a slam dunk case against ESPN for the Kelly Naqi report especially since he isn't a public figure (or at least not at the time of the report) and has no malice standard for defamation.

Yes. That as well

I was thinking. I want desperately for McNally's interview transcript to get released. After both Wells and Goodell getting caught lying about how Brady characterized his coversations with Jastremski after he got off the telephone with D&C (both said he said he didn't discuss the allegations of deflating footballs when he did), I wonder if Wells lied about McNally denying he went to the bathroom before the game and used an urinal when there was none in that bathroom. And I want to see the texts that supposedly implicate the Pats in context and not cherry picking texts.

Now that we know that Goodell lied to make Brady look bad, every piece of damning evidence (basically the texts between McNally and Jastremski) needs to be examined.
