(Nothing New, but) Revis Has No Moral Compass

I'm sure he does think Brady should take it. Better for him and his team.

That's arguable. He helped, yes, but he was not the dominant player in New England that he was previously with the Green Beans. He was a quality one-season rent-a-player here -- nothing more, nothing less.
Respect, but that's not at all how I see it. I have no idea how you could say such a thing. The dude shut out every receiver he played for the most part. Yeah, Sanders caught a few. Smith gave him a bit of a battle early in the divisional round. And some point to the TD in the SB where he was clearly obstructed by the ref. I don't know. I guess we'll just have to agree to disagree on this one. Revis was every bit the dominant player last season to me (aside from the first few games). The dude was being discussed (and legitimately) as an MVP candidate. You're not the only one I've seen post your viewpoint on him and I just can't help but wonder how much of that is because he chose to leave, especially since he went back to the Jests. Again, not flaming you. We'll just disagree on this one.

Revis is basically a hired gun to be kind who is in it for the money. In that capacity, he will do and say anything his employer instructs him. All the pride for his career he required was met last year and now it's just for the money.

Meh, he is a bloody Jets mates. Did anyone really think he turned over a new leaf/changed his stripes? I'll give him credit for fitting in while he was here but it's not like I was ever going to buy his Jersey or anything. (You poor people)

I will enjoy watching him get old in a rats uniform when he can't live up to his contract anymore. Btw Sherman is better. I just lied so his feelings wouldn't be hurt. :p

Revis doesnt want the NFLPA to win because his uncle failed to win again during their pollls. Same revis who lauded brady to standup before the team to talk about the situation .

Morals? Revis is a politician. He plays to his audience. I honestly don't feel any way about his remarks. He is a Jet now and I view him accordingly. Thanks for helping us bring home number 4, Rev.

Revis isn't a politician. He's a mercenary.. He doesn't give two sh**s about anyone but himself and where his paycheck is coming from..

sherman will get far more pub than revis...since sherman plays for a good team. nobody watches the jets because they suck. therefore, nobody will talk about revis. who cares about a corner on a garbage team??
sherman will play in big game after big game/in the primetime slots while revis will be irrelevant.

Strangely that is not only what is written here

Interestingly, cornerback Darrelle Revis, who played for the Patriots last season, remained neutral on whether Brady deserves the suspension. But, like many across the country, he's tired of the controversy.

"I think it's dragged a little bit too far," Revis said on First Take. "It's a little bit too much. I feel that he got the suspension of four games, and [he should] live with it. I don't know all the information; I don't know everything about the whole situation, but Tom, I know he's a competitor. I know he wants to win. It's unfortunate what's going on."

Revis revealed that Brady addressed the team after the AFC Championship Game, when accusations of deflating the footballs first surfaced.

"After that game, going into the Super Bowl, Tom spoke to the team, and it seemed like he was very hurt about what was being said about Deflategate and what was said about him, and I think he just tried to clear the air in that moment," Revis said. "And then after the Super Bowl and we won, it just blew up into a bigger issue."

Revis is nothing to me now. He's not a brother. He's not a friend. When he comes to Foxboro to play Brady, I want to know a day in advance so I won't be there.

He can't cover deep threats would love to see Boyce or Tyms scorch him
I'd be happy to see those two burn anybody....doubtful they'd catch a pass vs Revis.

Revis has officially burned the bridge. Malcolm Butler is the CB from '14 - 15............Revis is an afterthought!

Someone should suggest that Revis accept a 4 game suspension for himself, just for the 'ell of it. He's as guilty of something as Brady is of "framegate"

The best part about Revis' legacy with the Jets will be A) the Jets inadequacy to provide such a great player with a Superbowl and B) the fact that it took their most bitter rivals, the Patriots, to provide him a ring where they fell inadequate.

I havent really been following mlb this year, but i think Philly definately has the best team.

Funny how Sherman now shows more respect for Brady than this punk. Did someone explain to Revis that Brady would lose 4 game checks, because it seems like Revis would be the last one to lose millions without a fight.

Given his diminishing skills, from the looks of it in the future "Revis Island" will mainly refer to whatever hair he still has left on top of his head...
