I love the updates that people have been giving on training camp. Did the team practice today? Keep the updates coming!

Yes, its an in stadium practice for Foxboro residents and season ticket holders. I know its rediculously late, but I have 2 spare tickets I can email in the next 30 minutes. First to PM me takes them. Practice starts at 7pm

Just one quick thought that I forgot to mention in yesterday's post.

One thing that caught my I is the lack of a 3rd QB on the practice field. Does anyone have any knowledge about Matt Flynn's situation. I think there is a need for a 3rd arm on the field if only for practice purposes.

I went last year. While it was nice, as a non-season ticket holder to get to inside the stadium, but I found the practice itself was pretty unrevealing. There wasn't much contact.

Thanks for the offer, but I'll take my chances on tomorrow. ;)

I remember :) And I agree. I would go tomorrow as well if I could get the afternoon off.

Are there going to be twitter updates as practices goes for this closed off one or do we need to wait till it is all done?

Flynn be on NFI.

Well if for some reason he's not able to get out there, they need to get a 3rd arm in camp asap if only for a few weeks. There HAS to be some small college local QB who'd give his left testicle to go throw the ball around with Brady and Gronk for a few weeks. You think, let alone some FA who is sitting on his ass and has a chance to learn from the 2 GOAT's this sorry league has to offer

This 3rd arm is ready to come out of retirement

Is this going to be a pads practice?

Bill said a few days ago that Flynn is close to being back on the field.

I'm at the practice does anyone know where Edelman is? I don't see him.

He's at Luciano' s having a drink at the bar.I'm sitting next to him.

Tweaked his ankle a few days ago so I doubt he'll see much action until it is 100%.

Okay I didn't know he would be missing time for that but it makes sense thanks!

It is interesting to see how a couple of years can change impressions so drastically.

Flash back to the 2013 TC, if Edelman had "tweaked his ankle" and missed a couple of practices, we would have 3 threads already with complaints about how unreliable Julian was, how he can't stay on the field, and how stupid BB was for bringing him back. You know that's the truth. ;)

Roberts with a great PBU on Dobson

Keep the updates coming! I'm still at work, and it's nice to get a little break from the grind.

You don't know how many times I battled for Julian over the years. I guy by the handle of "Scratch" in ESPN was adamant that NE was phasing him out and refused to listen to reasoned arguments that Edelman's inactivity was due, in part, to injuries and redundancy with Welker. It all came to a head in 2013 when I wrote an article for Patsfootballfans.com explaining why I thought Michael Jenkins was camp fodder and nothing more. (Yes, that was a unconventional opinion at the time :)) In that article, I explained why I thought Edelman provided more value, but Scratch would have none of it and a flare up ensued.

To date I haven't returned to the site, so I have no idea how his opinion has changed since then.
