Q. Sorry. Okay, the text, when he's writing to
19 his fiancé Panda and he says, "I just mentioned some
20 of the balls. They are supposed to be 13. They
21 were, like, 16."
22 Do you see that?
23 A. Yes.
24 Q. Now, 13 would be within the legal limit,
25 right?

1 A. Yes.
2 Q. So what he was saying here, he thought the
3 balls were supposed to be 13, not lower than the
4 legal limit? That's what he wrote, right?
5 A. That's what he wrote.
6 Q. Right. Do you have any reason to think why
7 he would lie to his fiancé about this subject after
8 the Jets game? What would be his motive?
9 A. I didn't say he lied to his fiancé.
10 Q. Okay. So then, you believe that
11 Mr. Jastremski truthfully told his fiancé that he
12 was trying to get the balls to 13 and they came out
13 16, right? That was a truthful statement, you
14 believe?
15 A. Yes.
16 Q. Okay. And if he was trying to get them to
17 13, that was not a deflation below the limit, was
18 it?
19 A. No.
20 Q. Okay, thank you.

Isn't this proof that Troy Vincent was lying in his testimony that he first became aware of all this in the second quarter of the AFCCG when he and Kensil snapped into action to preserve the integrity of the game?
If you work from the beginning position that the people involved in setting up Tom Brady and the Patriots with lie after lie after lie are indeed liars, then everything becomes crystal clear.

That jet game text message has been a big deal from the start to show brady wanted the refs to see the rule book but somehow its been conveniently ignored.

troy vincent is a moron.

Whatever Deus, your being a jerk, you jumped on something so you could say something nasty and think your something special because of it.

Now if you want to discuss the case here then call it or don't comment at all. Tell us what the judge is going to do.

Look for a PM I'm taking this offline

I'm not being a jerk, and I have no intention of speaking to you in PMs, since you're just trolling. And "Call it or don't comment"? Get back to me when you're ready to behave as if you're more than 6 years old.

troy vincent is a moron.
And if you didn't know that before today...holy crap.

The start of his testimony was him fumbling over his words while the NFL scrambled to not let Kessler ask about who actually handed out the punishment.

He screws up "I" and "We" a couple times too. Smart of Kessler not to say anything, and just let it sit there.

Nope. Same reasons given in my Q&A. Really, this should settle. The NFL's stance on this is frankly, embarrassing.

@StephStradley as you read transcript, any new thoughts on Brady defamation suit?

I'm actually starting to worry that if we finally get to the bottom of this, they'll simply come up with another accusation. I know it sounds crazy, but there's just too many people involved here for me NOT to have concerns.

Doesn't this on its own prove his innocence. It is stated Brady wants 13. Psi months after the deflator text.

I don't think that would be possible at this point. Too much info is out there now, with notable reporters taking interest in the Patriots side. If a new accusation came out the NFL would look even more shady then they do now, and the witch hunt on the patriots would be even more obvious.

This should also put to rest the whole notion of "The NFL is still holding something back" crap as well.

They've had nothing this whole time, and they still have nothing.

It's been an interesting thing to see just how far the NFL can push something with absolutely nothing.

They already fired their last salvo IMO. The cell phone. That was it, and that now is a big flop.

Could be a rough three days for Rog next week

Owners meetings on the 11th
Brady settlement conference on the 12th
Contempt of court hearing with Doty presiding on the 13th

No doubt supa. If you're going to be caught in a lie you may as well fully commit. Sooner or later, the Patriots will be accused of running an NFL Gulag with all that roster turnover.

It seems like the NFL really was going after something about why Brady chose 12.5 as his preferred measurement, they carry on from pages 113-124 driving at some conclusion that is not clear, with Godell chiming at one point.

I'm having a hard time seeing a middle ground for the judge, Wells admits he was hired to base his investigation on procedures of fair play and 'integrity' of the game that are laid out in procedure for teams not the players.

The NFL is trying to have it both ways with the balls being heated in Minnesota, saying that it was different because it was a ball attendant(team personnel), then turning it around to levy this penalty against Brady as a player which there is no established procedure for. Roger's ad hoc NFL*

Oh ****, I forgot about that one. Shame cameras won't be in the courtroom for that.
