Supa picked up Jeremy Maclin, one of the players you had said not to pick up, one of DZ roster dumps. Honest mistake, I'm sure, he wouldn't have known unless he read this thread the last couple of days.

Wilson was a roster dump too but was picked by DZ for only a couple of days after being released before the playoffs and you had said it was ok. If anyone thinks it's unfair, I'll drop Wilson too, as I really wanted him for last weeks matchup and likely won't even start him this week.

Good job guys..had a lot of fun this year and I will be running it again next year if you want in! Tha 's everyone for being active week in and week out. Appreciate it!

Strong opinions on this subject. I say teams that are even out of the playoffs have every right to keep trying to pick guys up and improve their team. I feel the teams at the top are there for a reason (strong drafting and pickups). Just because they're in the top four, to me, doesn't mean it should get easier for them. Anyone should be able to add players during the playoffs regardless if they're in the playoffs or not that's standard practice.

However if people are going to be babies and dump their roster because they had a ****ty season thus tainting the playoffs I won't be part of this league again that's ridiculous. Had I been in the playoffs and played against a team that picked up those players and started them I'd be furious.

The commissioner should have added those players back to his team and locked the roster.

Luckily this didn't affect me and am looking forward to playing again next season. This was my 5th pay league this year and unfortunately it was my worst but I won 3 championships so I can deal with doing bad in 2 others

He didn't dump his team because he was unhappy with a bad season. He did it to prove a point. What's the point of him having a team if he can't play the final two weeks? He didn't do anything against the rules and someone got pissed about it. And the commish did say that anyone dropped by him can't be added and started in the playoffs. Don't know how that played out, though.

And congrats on all your championships. This was my only league and it went downhill after 6 games. But I play for fun so we will see how it goes next year!

Sorry for my previous post I didn't see what happened here but there's no reason to be upset because you did nothing wrong. If someone is upset that you added a player and you're not in the playoffs maybe they should draft a better team, make better moves instead of being a cry baby.

Next time simply ignore the other person instead of giving into them since they don't know the rules.

You never should have dropped your entire team that doesn't make a point or sense but the commissioner should have got that under control by adding your players back and locking your team.

I have been playing since 2004 and everyone I have played with has never had an issue with anyone doing this and just because you're in the playoffs doesn't mean you're entitled to some different rules.

We doing this again this year? I'm interested in getting in this year if so.

I know I deserved to, but how did I miss out on the playoffs this year? I see the first tie breaker is head to head record and I, the Heisenberg Blues, went 1-1 against Deflate This. Is the second tie breaker total points? Because we both had 1128! I'm just curious what tie breaker I lost on to not make the playoffs. Still a good year for my team. Started 1-5 and finished regular season 7-6.

I think that Deflate this had the best head to head record among the 3 7-6 teams.

What I'd like to know is how do outscore everybody in the league but one and end up 5-8?

Would like to see this league go to 6 playoffs teams next year.

Defense wins championships! And I think I agree about playoffs. Was definitely a fun year, however.

Playoff day is exciting! In the off-chance I manage a win today, can anyone tell me what the situation is with the money? Do the top 2 get paid? Top 3? Who gets how much?

So here's where we stand, we're at nine if we include abbynormal, who hasn't signed up yet. Resdub is not joining due to his hatred of ESPN.

I figure give it another day to see if another member will join and worse case go outside the forum in which we'll likely be able to find someone who will join a $30 league. We'd only need one for a ten team league in which case we probably should go with the 2QB setup that was suggested. So if 10, I suggest we go:

1QB
2RB (or 1 RB and 1 RB/WR)
2WR
1TE
1FLEX (RB/WR/TE)
1 OFFENSIVE PLAYER (QB/RB/WR/TE)

If 12 we could use this set up or go back to the 2 flex option with a an additional flex replacing k and d/st.

Never been a fan of 2QB.

I could take it or leave it but I figured if we're stuck on ten teams 2 qbs might work.

We are at 10 now, abbynormal signed up and it looks like Ross is in. We'll wait one more day to see if someone wants to join for 11 and 12, settle on settings and schedule the draft.
