the tweet in question was fav'd + retweeted 1700 times, and he's got a bunch just like it on there
I understand he's got a wwe thing going w/screamin' a, so he kind of takes this position by default, but w/e.
I'm sure when cam's fake smile gets investigated their positions will be reversed.

The kind of people who watch ESPN, I guess. Who, not coincidentally, are the same people who are most likely to be way misinformed on this whole thing.

I do like how Bayless is referencing "certain people in the media" that were used to put out false information. Can't call out a coworker by name, I guess.

is it me or does it just seem like Bayless is reading Florio on-air? Don't get me wrong...anything helps, but this seems like he's just read a lot of PFT.

Skip and Steven A both seem to think Brady will take a 2 game compromise. I say forget it - all or nothing. Goodell has the authority to issue the suspension and to uphold it on appeal, but what judge will allow a player to be banned for 4 games when the rules say nothing about suspension for deflated footballs?

well wouldnt it be sweet if Judge Berman comes out in his opening statements and says basically this punishment cannot be given down to Brady as there is no rule for it, he then vacates the all punishment on the Patriots as well based upon Goodells abuse of power in this case.

The judge unfortunately cannot vacate the punishment to the patriots. However, if the suspension to brady is vacated, there would be enormous pressure on Goodell to give the patriots picks back.
