Programming Note: Florio on WEEI tomorrow at 7:45

LOL! I just decided to listen to two minutes of Felger and Mazz and realized why I don't listen to them anymore. They just called Florio Kraft's 6th son. They used Florio's analysis of Judge Berman's instructions to push their points and then just mocked his analysis when it countered their agenda.

For example, they laughed off Florio's source that the NFL wanted the appeal transcripts to be sealed and the NFLPA agreed saying that they believe Judy Batista that Brady wanted the records sealed in a settlement. Then they found out that in the NFLPA filings they specifically state they agreed to sealing the appeal transcripts at the NFL's request and they spun it that Brady still doesn't want the info out more than the NFL because the NFL gets slammed every day and more bad info won't hurt them.

I used to listen to them but they are unbearable now. I hope others feel the same and hopefully their ratings reflect that.

You don't have to bother keeping us posted on what they have to say on their show because we always know what they are going to say. They are dead to me. I used to watch them all the time but I'm tired of their constant mocking of everyone that disagrees with them. I couldn't stand their negativity after every Pats win let alone the losses. I'm done with them.....been 5 months now

Hopefully others are following suit. Very frustrating to hear everyone say stuff like that and then see the ratings come out.

In their low brain cell minds, he is getting 2 games. They are desperate. The ship they attached themselves to is sinking fast and they are grasping at whatever they can. Florio as he 6th son? Yeah, cause he's extremely pro Patriots. Not.

I stopped listening too. Don't miss them at all. Why does New England media think we want to hear constant negativity about our favorite teams? And what happened to Greg Bedard? He used to be worth listening to. Now, he sounds like Felger Jr.

I used to listen to them...since deflategate and the "brady is done gate" in the fall I stopped.

but a friend had them playing on Friday and literally their argument was "tom brady must have told them he destroyed the phone, because the NFL and goodell wouldn't lie and use that word" when confronted with the argument that brady broke it and the NFL twisted it.

because, in their minds...goodell is a beacon of integrity and honesty while brady is a lyeing cheat

Droll. They couldn't even come up with a new insult.

Sixth son is a boring old insult they used on Reiss in an attempt to dismiss his opinions as coming from a homer.

I'm not a lawyer, but am I right in thinking...

The judge wants them to settle, because then this whole dispute is over.

If they don't settle and the judge rules in Brady's favor, then it isn't necessarily over. The current suspension is lifted, period. Then it would have to be (again) reviewed by an arbitrator.

I suppose the judge could come out with language so forcefully in Tom's favor that even going to an arbitrator is silly/done deal, but the way to get it completely done, dead, and buried ASAP is a settlement.
That is, unless the settlement includes the plan to wait and see that the footballs in cold weather games this year will lose pressure also. Even though that compromise is an assured Brady victory, I REALLY do NOT want this silly debate going on for another 6 months.

Total victory, now, is my plan. Somehow that doesn't seem in the compromising spirit, though.

Oh heck, I'll hold my nose and the NFL can throw in a 25K fine for lack of cell phone sharing. Call it done, then TB plays 19 games this year and wins #19. Then the haters will sob. Good for them.

Yeah, when the court granted Vilma his freedom Goodell just appealed and continued to uphold the suspension. That of course, was finally overturned when Tagliabue heard it, but that wasn't until December.

I don't think either of them believe a word of what they are saying. Or at least most of what they are saying. Their sole aim is to rile up Patriots fans. And the act has gotten very stale and predictable.

They probably still have good ratings but they just seem really lazy nowadays. They dont even try to disguise their trolling efforts anymore. When your smart enough (yes Felger is) to understand what is going on and to have supposedly followed every piece of information that has come out, and you still come out 99% of the time against anything that helps the Pats side...well your straight up trolling and trolling badly.

I see parallels with Felger and Ordway. Ordway developed a great talk show and format that attracted a lot of listeners. He just started to get lazy and overrelying on things like having the same troll callers (Dakota, Al from Everett, Steve from Fall River, etc) to say stupid stuff so he could champion the home team and get everyone fired up. I see that with Felger where he successfully created a contrarian character, but now he is going overboard and just troll the local fans.

I think he and Mazz risk driving away listeners like Ordway did once Big O finally had real competition.

I completely agree. I don't miss them either. Unfortunately, their ratings are still solid.
