A supervisor of officials: "There have been ball inflation issues in past"

Kensil set the sting, Gardi and Padh were in on it with Blandino, when the IGL info started coming out, the suits realized that if an attempt to smear a SB team was exposed that Goodell might be toast. The 'investigation' is a cover up of the sting, to protect Goodell. He more likely than not did know until he was told the week after the game about the sting and the science problem that Head Smart labs pointed out. Everything else is throwing others under the bus to protect the boss.

This is a sports version of Watergate for those old enough to remember, with Goodell playing Nixon and. Kensil as the head of the 'Plumbers'.

Too bad there's no Woodward or Bernstien around now. We get stuck with the Morts of the world.

You can't throw a truly deflated ball at an NFL level.
Agree. As someone who has thrown both a firmly-inflated Wilson NFL ball and crappy, slightly-smooshy HS footballs hundreds of times each, there is no comparison... the former is much easier to throw.

Woops! Those NFL fellers sure are a bunch of Chatty Kathy's, aren't they?

And now the NFL ITSELF is violating the court order AGAINST ITSELF!!!!!!!!

".......And, now, inconclusive, because a current NFL supervisor of officials has acknowledged that some footballs are defective, when it comes to keeping air inside them.

“These are man-made products,” Central Region supervisor of officials Gary Slaughter said during a via to the Steelers, via Mark Kaboly of the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review. “There is a bladder and a valve. We have all checked them for many years. Sometimes when you check the ball in the locker room right out of the box, there could be a problem. They could have a slow leak, and you wouldn’t even know it at the time.”

Knowing that this came out during a visit with the Steelers and was reported by the Tribune-Review just makes the info so much sweeter.

Add in Roger Goodell, and I'd have loved to have been a fly on the wall for any of the conversations regarding the Seahawks' choice of plays run from the 1 yard line.

You mean Elena and Jose in the DR.
They're made in Ohio. I remember they brought some lady who retired in to Arizona to the NFL Experience to demonstrate the whole thing. I only saw it on TV but it was cool.

If the NFL were NASCAR, teams would make pinholes in footballs so that they'd deflate over the course of the game.
