Kensil Removed From NFL Ops Team?!

Not trying to say anything to the Jets defense, but it wasn't illegal to tape anything in 2006. That rule came in effect in 2007, that's why the Pats were punished, they got caught by a team that knew the Pats well (Mangina, former Pats, etc).

The infamous NFL memo did come out in 2006, September 6, 2006 to be exact, so the 2006 infractions were every bit as "bad" as the one by the Pats in game 1, 2007.

The Jets also got caught a 2nd time filming the Patriots a few years back and the NFL called it legal because the camera man was wearing a high vis jacket!

You're 100% WRONG , Scott.

Please, we have enough Christian Arkand morons spouting lies and insults at us here and our fanbase.

The rule was in effect long before 2006 but was largely ignored league wide UNTIL the M-E-M-O in 2006.

You do the lying media scumbags work for them when you print otherwise.

The memo that bypassed the competition committees' approval that Goody and his brownshirts tried to ramrod down everyone's throats..

Wow, thought the memo had come out in 2007. We really got a raw deal. I hope the NFL front office gets exposed so cameraplacementgate gets put to rest.

Bingo. Demoting him shines unwanted light.

It isn't even unwanted light. It could be taken as an admission of guilt by the league if they fire or demote him if Brady, Kraft, McNally, or Jastremski file a defamation suit.

The Lime Green Vest rule.

That little episode showed how selective the outrage was. The LG Vest rule allows the cameraman to be there to film for those team produced TV shows. All the people who lost their minds in 2007 never asked if anyone checks to see what the guy actually filmed.

Kensil likes bed bath and beyond

There's a very good reason for that. If you look back at the initial stories on ESPN, they say the memo came out September 6, but don't mention the year. Intentional or not, this helped frame things as "Belichick was just told not to do it, and he does it anyway."

Matt Birk?

The same Matt Birk that played 10 years with the Vikings (heating balls on sidelines) and 4 years with the Ravens?

Yeah, but you have to (a) dominate the league for 10 years (or more) and (b) be in the same division as the Jets to be harassed and called by the NFL trash operations team for doing the same thing every other team in the league does.

Not sure which one of these BS scandals is more of a joke, camera-gate or psi-gate.

So this they see and quickly let the world know that he has not been removed from his position but can't correct a blatant lie for more than 3 months?

Not only that, let us not forget about the mid-season Phish game in 2006 in Miami where the players all CROWED to the media about how they used illegal audio tapes of TB's line calls to know what he was calling. Game was a shutout.

BSPN (Clayton) was quick with the'ohhh, those rascally Dolphins. Boys will be boys....nothing to see here.'

BB just took it as ' our own fault for not changing signals.'
