Kensil Removed From NFL Ops Team?!

At this point, it would be stupid for the NFL to do anything to Kensil. It would give Kraft and/or Brady an even stronger defamation case if they decide to follow through with it.

This got reporters attention...

Ben Volin ✔ @BenVolin
Not only has nothing changed with Mike Kensil, but he was not on that NFL Ops website to begin with.

Maybe he got a promotion?

I can't believe they actually highlighted that quote above, and that he would actually say such a thing. Does he really fancy himself after Wilford Brimley in The Firm? "I get paid to be suspicious when there's nothing to be suspicious about."

LOL so a thread on Reddit and one on Patsfans and the NFL run to cover up what they did earlier in the week?

What a bunch of image sensitive morons. Imagine if BB were this sensitive? Oh the things that would be said.

I went to the website this morning which started this.

His office is no longer at 345 Park Ave. They moved him. I don't know why.

He was in the room during the appeal with TB12.

I do not know his job status.

I certainly wouldn't trust Trollin Volin.

All of the issues with Pats' alleged cheating began shortly after Kensil was hired as Director of Football Operations before the 2006 season.

The Rats were caught illegally taping in Foxboro in 2006 and nothing was done even though BB disputed the Rats claim that they had received permission from the Pats.

We all know what happened during the 1st game of 2007, not so coincidentally IMO, played at Rats' Stadium.

IMO all of the Pats' issues with cheating allegations are the result of a vendetta aided and abetted by a sympathetic and activist NFL* front office.
Not trying to say anything to the Jets defense, but it wasn't illegal to tape anything in 2006. That rule came in effect in 2007, that's why the Pats were punished, they got caught by a team that knew the Pats well (Mangina, former Pats, etc).

Bingo. Demoting him shines unwanted light.

Football development. What a fake title. Birk is a sell out that probably aided Vincent in trying to take over the NFLPA from a dying Upshaw. Birk was very anti-Gene Upshaw if I remember.

BTW searched for the announcement of his appointment for that position

In his new role, Birk will assist in developing the game at all levels of the sport, from players to coaches to front office personnel. He will also assist in the administration of NFL game day operations.

Basically he's just a league stooge and yes man.
Carful slamming Matt Birk. He's a stand-up guy. I don't know if he's gone to the Dark Side yet....

I believe it was illegal to tape in 2006 when the Jets did it but did not become a federal case until ratgini and the Jets in conjunction with League (Kensil) made it in the first game of 2007. Of course Kraft throwing BB under the bus to appease Goodell didn't help matters.
