I don't think the bills D is as great as everyone says. They have a stout front 4 but that's about it. I really think the Jets D will be better - great front 4, decent LBs, great corners and so-so safeties.

The safeties and LBs (+ Geno) will undo that team.

Good to hear Dobson is showing signs of progress. I thought he had breakout potential last year, but injuries derailed that. Hopefully, he proves I was just a year off in my prediction.

Ryan has done great things with less. He's a hell of a defensive mind and I expect that defense to be the real deal.

Gilmore is miles ahead talent wise than any defensive back on our roster.
McCourty included.
Sorry but that's the Truth he has top 10 potential.

But Dobson has small hands, that's why he drops everything and will never make it. ;)

Some air-tight Ben Volin google searchin

I have to make it a rule not to read your posts while sipping my coffee. Never works out well. :D

I found those people odd. He won the college award for best center while at Florida St. I think his whole line was drafted to the NFL the following year? . I think sometimes projections based on combines and measureables are off sometimes. He was under drafted and it happens all the time and vice versa.

He had a bit of an injury history in college, IIRC. That may explain some of his draft day drop. Plus, it's common for excellent non-LT O-linemen to fall till day 3 or 4.

Small measure of poetic justice just got a little bit better/bigger:

After nearly two years away from football, Richie Incognito is expected to start at left guard for the Buffalo Bills this season, coach Rex Ryan said Sunday.

"One thing for sure is Richie's a starter," Ryan said. "I mean, he looks about as good as any of them. He really does."

Incognito's back as a starter, and Martin's out of the league.

Why did Brady give Butler a high five? This isn't Pop Warner football.

Many would argue that all other physical gifts being equal, confidence is the real difference between a good corner and a poor one.

And also by the way, Brady needs the defense to play well too...it remains a team game.

Other than McCourty I think Ryan has looked like the next best DB

The hidden text might be the loudest...do CBs who cover well get thrown on a lot - hence make themselves tweetable? I would say thee nay. I'm hoping the relative silence is because of great coverage.

THis is Dobsons year to shine if he is going to

If (I recognize the size of that if) Dobson can both stay healthy and be a middle-deep threat, the Patriots could have a 5-'wide' package of

Edelman
Gronk
Chandler
LaFell
Dobson

which could make for some interesting formations and routes.

edelman, amendola, lafell, Dobson, slater plus another wr would be a nice
