Is is going to piss of the judge again now who asked to tone down the rhetoric ?

Nope. Those emails were released by the Pats and not the NFLPA or Brady.

Actually, in one of the crazy ironies of this whole debacle, he told both parties to tone down the rhetoric and the Patriots are a part of the NFL so the Patriots are a part of that order...
Absolutely correct. Judge Berman should go postal on the NFL for this flagrant violation of his orders!

I don't know. I don't think so. They aren't a party in Brady v. NFL so I don't think the judge's order to "tone down the rhetoric" technically applies to them. But the league was one of the parties that order was specifically aimed at. So if the league pushed back, even though a "leak" and even if said pushback isn't aimed at Brady. The judge probably would be quite unhappy (at the league). :D

Mayne that is what the Pats are trying to do :). Sounds like a BB move to me. Not at the level of kraft or anyone else.

There's really no way to know what might upset a judge. As I mentioned in my earlier post, he ordered both parties to tone it down and the Patriots are a party to the suit because they are part of "The NFL".

Wouldn't it be great if the Patriots actions angered the judge so much he held the NFL in contempt?? :D:D

Advantage to NFLPA on new page-limits ordered by Judge Berman: NFLPA's original filing in MN was 54 pages; NFL's complaint is only 5 pages

And it's an easily read 54 pages, as well.

Goodell is being forced to attend the settlement conference LOL. His royal highness actually has to show up.

Like Col. Jessup walking down the hall after he is called to the stand.

"I see you are wearing your blue tie for your appearance in court today......".

this settlement thing is public?? all of the espn hacks will be in attendance now.lol

Interesting development. We have an ESPN article defending Brady's trashing of the phone. And, 'shockingly', it's saying what so many of use have said:

"As someone who lost his phone and was threatened by the person who found it to take numbers celebrities and players public, I advise my players to destroy phones they are no longer using out of respect for people whose numbers are in there, whose conversations could perhaps be recovered," said NFL agent David Canter, who represents San Diego Chargers safety Eric Weddle, Kansas City Chiefs cornerback Sean Smith and Miami Dolphins defensive end Olivier Vernon, among others.

According to the league, Brady testified it's his practice to destroy his phone and SIM cards when he gets a new phone. Make fun of it all you want, but he'd be crazy not to do that.

It'd be crazy for anyone not to destroy a SIM card when you're done with it too.

I'm amazed someone at ESPN let that article drop though...maybe the editors are all taking Friday off?

Rovell's "ESPN" like, say Chris Connolly is "ESPN". It's entirely possible that the people responsible for his department wasn't paying attention.
