Anyone know why this text was crossed out? I didn't (intentionally) do anything to make that happen.

I had that happen to me once. It was after I copied text from a PDF file.

What I did to resolve it was highlight the entire text and then used the toolbar to edit font and removed formatting with the Tx tool located on the top right.

Having Felger, ****erson, Thomase and Volin on tv the other night was an almost orgasmic conflation of stupid.
....and ****erson is the only guy I can stand.

Even then he deserves a punch in the face 75% of the time.

****erson means well, he's just ....handicapped. He's not very bright.

Yea....hes on meds for epilepsy and other cognitive issues. Has good days and bad days. He probably downed 4 Johnnie Walker Blacks before sitting down with those idiots.

Comcast did that on purpose just to tick off the fan base. In that room you have Public Enemy #1, #2 and #3.

Put Sheppard, Smerlas, Holley or Thronton and maybe I'll watch. Sometimes homerism and pom-pom waving isn't a bad thing.

Even the GLOBE must, at some point, revisit the decision to employ such an incompetent boob.

He CONSISTENTLY misreports.

What use is he if he is so often and publicly shown to be wrong?

.

PSIgate has gone so terribly wrong for NE so far, if TB gets the 4 games and picks remain lost, I'd consider fighting for a moral victory to get Volin shi.t-canned from all his idiocy we've been subjected to on the matter.

At first I had a hard time figuring why the NLFLPA would do this. I would have thought the NFLPA would have wanted to the case to take longer, enabling the league to hang itself further. I can only come up with 2 plausible reasons for this.

1. Brady's legal team think they have enough to win a defamation suit after the judges decision.

2. Brady's legal team wants to limit the length of time that corruption has to seep into the case.

Discovery was the interesting part to me as I thought that was the means by which new information could come to the table and it would also involve Tom opening himself up to scrutiny which I was going to enjoy throwing in the face of the "CHEATERS!" brigade over here on the Best Coast who insist on taunting me 3-5 times a day whether I ****ing know them or not cause I'm almost always wearing my Pats gear.

Discovery could happen if Brady files a defamation suit after this matter is settled.

He still wants to file a lawsuit. The NFLPA and NFL both want an expedited briefing schedule to argue their points (plus oral argument), and the decision to be rendered prior to the season (hence an injunction would be unnecessary). I'm a lawyer.

To repeat what I've said multiple times -- no matter how contentious a case is, there can be genuine cooperation in matters of scheduling and the like.

However, I'm not a lawyer. So in particular I have no opinion as to whether this is really likely to work out, or if it's just both sides going through an expected charade.

A preferable resolution might have been for both parties to agree to submit the entire case to a neutral arbitrator for resolution before Sept 4.

The NFL desperately opposes neutral arbitration.

So my understanding is the NFL PA wants this case to be done ASAP and not let the NFL and it's fuhrer to drag this on any further?

Faster resolution are almost always better. I can't think of a reason to the contrary in this case, except that if there isn't a resolution before the start of the season, then it would be best to wait until February.

Sorry but not filing an injunction seems like an awful idea especially since this whole thing started the NFL has been handing the pats their asses on every turn.

The NFL is either very confident or they have more on Brady they have yet to bring up that they plan on using in court. At this point I have lost all confidence in Brady not being suspended 4 games.

Such an uninformed post.
