brady must be confident that he'll win at this point.a
seems like he has a good case/plus kessler is suppose to be a great lawyer.

Is Mazz talking about Wade Miley?
Actually heard the little psipqueak en route back to my office from the gym at lunch....Marshall Hook was lacing into him pretty good about how F&M's coverage has been 99% against Brady and in favor of Goodell. Hook made an excellent case....when it was time for M to respond he refused! what a f#cking p#ssy! He literally ceded his time to A Jones of the Felger Youth....F must be off today sunning himself at his summer retreat in Nantucket...that piece of sh#t...F him

Wouldn't know, not listening. Those guys obviously decided months ago on their "Brady is guilty of cheating and is protecting BB" agenda as a way to rile up listeners, but I think it's starting to backfire. At least, I hope so.

Tell you what, WEEI has been KILLING 98.5 on this story. The Felger/Mazz reign is all but over.
All day WEEI has been refreshingly good. D&C had a good show for once in which they basically rehashed what PatsFans has been saying all along with additional insight. The absence of that dunce Benz on the afternoon show actually allowed for rational discussion on the Mortenson report. And I assume D&H is pretty good too.

Felger & Mazz is not at all entertaining. They have become so predictable over the Brady case. The "rile up Pats fans" strategy for their show is completely boring.

seriously can't we remove volin from the twitter feed? constant trolling of the pats, mis-information, etc.

Aren't there any JV high school teams out there in need of a beat reporter?

Keep your friends close, keep your enemies closer.

Seriously, what good does it do to not see what he's saying. I'd rather know what it is than be in the dark, and this way I don't have to give him the clicks to find out.

NEWS: NFLPA files motion expaining that Brady no longer wants to file a lawsuit and seek an injunction

What a MORON that MCI is. There's NOTHING in that that states Brady "no longer wants to file a lawsuit...." whatsoever.

Is he really THAT mentally challengged to believe that his readership is that stupid?

Literally a 6th grade brain thinking he can make stories up at will.

All, to help calm your nerves, please read the second page of the letter: http://www.bostonglobe.com/sports/2...GFP/story.html?p1=Article_Related_Box_Article, and also take note that this was a joint submission (so the NFLPA agreed to this schedule).

It provides that by 8/7 (one week from today), the parties will file their cross motions to vacate Goodell's award (NFLPA) and to confirm in (NFL). So in no way has Brady given up his right to sue here, as he will be suing to vacate the award. Indeed, Brady "intend to file later today a public version of an Answer and Counterclaim." So Brady is still suing the NFL. Note that we will all probably be disappointed by what this document contains, since it will redact all confidential materials.

What Brady has given up here is his right to seek a preliminary injunction. I actually think this is preferable, assuming the Court will agree to this schedule. A preliminary injunction, though likely to be granted, carries with it the possibility that the suspension could be re-imposed during the season, which none of us would like. This schedule, again if it is approved by the Court, guarantees that this matter will be adjudicated before the start of the season.

I am a lawyer too (though not a labor attorney), and happy to help answer questions.

Both NFL and NFLPA have met and agreed to an expedited process requesting a final decision by 9/4. This would end the case before the season, one way or another, once and for all.
What the hell are we all supposed to do after 9/4....watch football?:p

I was really hoping that a lot of dirt would come up in discovery.... I'm disappointed with this.

So my understanding is the NFL PA wants this case to be done ASAP and not let the NFL and it's fuhrer to drag this on any further?
