Breaking Story of NFLPA-NFL Expedition Motion

I wonder if the leaks about other owner's disapproval has something to do with this.

Interesting take. Especially after Maras comments today. "The evidence is convincing". Really? How are you a freaking owner??

And clearly, you know more than Ben Volin...d%#*!@t, I should have known better than to trust a nimrod :mad:
Haha, don't be so hard on yourself. The media all think they are legal analysts these days...

Guess goes more to my understanding thst the legal system needs an overhaul. In my world, judge see the relevant basic facts and says here is an injunction while we work through it. Then a ruling at a later date. Don't see how you can get an injunction after a ruling.

Damn lawyers. :D

I meant if the Judge declines to agree to the expedited schedule then the injunction comes back into play. Both sides would prefer that this be resolved before the season starts but the Judge's schedule also comes into play. They can't expedite if he's already swamped.

NEWS: NFLPA files motion expaining that Brady no longer wants to file a lawsuit and seek an injunction

What a MORON that MCI is. There's NOTHING in that that states Brady "no longer wants to file a lawsuit...." whatsoever.

Is he really THAT mentally challengged to believe that his readership is that stupid?

Literally a 6th grade brain thinking he can make stories up at will.

Utter moron. But in his feeble brain that can't process anything he thinks this proves his "Brady will be dropping this soon" **** he has been spewing.

It make sense to ask for this, whether the courts can expedite is another matter, otherwise the court case would linger into the season and be a distraction. This way before the season starts Brady will know 100% whether he sits games or not. Better for Brady and the Patriots for planning rather than a random 4 games later. The league gits it behind them also so it does not distract from the season so both sides win with a decision by the season opener. Has no bearing on anything else or any other hidden meaning.

Even the GLOBE must, at some point, revisit the decision to employ such an incompetent boob.

He CONSISTENTLY misreports.

What use is he if he is so often and publicly shown to be wrong?

.

I'm going to self impose a 4 hour ban from posting anything becasue I let Trollin Volin get to me. This cannot happen. Damn I can't believe the bastard got me.

You're not the only one Viper. He got to me too :( That as.shole

Ben Volin obviously is not a lawyer...
But he is obviously an idiot. More to the point, he was on tv last night saying he expect Brady would just give up any day because the NFL had crushed them so badly, he saw this and immediately jumped to the conclusion that that was what was happening. It's the first time he's been the firstest with the wrongest.

Even in the best case scenario if the suspension is vacated it still leaves the utterly baseless and unprecedented team penalties, which is a pretty big matzo ball hanging out there. The draft picks are based on the same lack of due process as the suspension (if not more so). A preferable resolution might have been for both parties to agree to submit the entire case to a neutral arbitrator for resolution before Sept 4.

NFLPA should file in mass after both sides remove their suits

Not sure if the MA Federal Court would look favorably on that...but I think they should have filed in MA to begin with, and avoided all this nonsense.

I'm surprised the NFL didn't try to get the hearing scheduled for the Monday after the season ends so they could suspend him for the playoffs.

Ben Volin" "The Patriots are now gathering their muskets and getting ready for an expected volley of canonballs from the advancing Redcoats".

Looking at it from my homer side i am thinkinig this has to do with Kensil news and 3 owners perhaps pissed off . NFL caving in
