with a $31-million signing bonus, and approximately $60-million guaranteed.

They must have forgotten Russel Wilson's last pass of the season. They're giving the $87.6M for this ....

Good, not great, player with whom you can win. Deal hurts Seattle if they need to lose key players.

The Seahawks have done well to lock up their core for a few more years, but they are going to struggle with depth soon. I love it when teams finally lose the advantage a Super Star rookie contract gives them.

Wow. This will overshadow any Mortensen stuff huh? One massive overpayment.

But he will be unstoppable with Jimmy Graham right? So, worth it. ;)

Does the 4 year deal replace 2015 rookie deal and run until 2018 or is it 2016-2019???

0-7 when his team gives up 24 or more points.

This statistic cannot be ignored.

Wilsonites will say that their offensive system is not set up to score a ton of points. There is some truth to that but to not have won a single game when the D allows more than 24 points in 7 tries is pretty telling.

QB's that make $20m (or even $10m in Foxboro:p) win teams those games.

Based on current market this would seem low in years and/or $.

FYI, it's actually more than 24 points. They've given up 24 points four times in the last three seasons and went 2–2 in them.

And, FWIW, the GOAT is 11–8 over the last three seasons in that same scenario.

Ay-caraba! :confused::confused:

So 2-9 with those 2 wins being at home against TB in OT ('13) and Oakland (last year)

That's incredible, especially when you compare Brady's record of wins when giving up 21+ points

Brady has played in 106 games (including playoffs) where the Patriots allowed at least 21 points. In those games, Brady is 60-46, for a 0.566 winning percentage.

Something must be wrong with these statistics....I find this one very hard to believe

NFL on ESPN ‏@ESPNNFL 10m
Russell Wilson has the most wins by any QB in NFL history in a player's first 3 seasons.

Wilson just cemented the fact that he will not win another SB.

Brady won 40 games in his first 3 years starting but he didn't play his rookie year so he isn't on that list.
