Judge Berman Speaks

If we get screwed over even in Federal Court I'm just going to say screw it and say that he did it. Not that I think he did but I just need peace of mind. I'd rather that he did do all of this and move on rather than have sour grapes over this telling people "Brady is innocent!" For the next 20 years. The fact is the media never wants to consider Brady the GOAT. This was made to make an excuse for Brady's success and after a while there's nothing you can do but accept it.

One day I'm going to wake up and its January 19th and all of this has been one long terrible dream. Right?

As tempting a dream as that is, I'm not sure I want to risk losing that Super Bowl.

Where exactly did the judge call out the union for venue shopping? Judges need to explain their decisions or they will be appealed later. That is why they need to "call out" parties by saying there was no basis for doing something, such as filing in Minnesota.

This is going to be a REALLLLYYY stressed out forum during the proceedings.
Right you are Ice Ice. He didn't call out the union for venue shopping. He explained why he kicked it back to New York.
You're right about the stress level of this board.
Pinkhat hysteria has taken over. It's embarrassing.

This thread needs to go away. Judge Kyle in Minnesota seems like the worst that could have been drawn, he was likely mad that their court is viewed as a player friendly court and he may hates Judge Doty (Judges get jealous of each other too) Having it away from him is a good thing. Getting a judge is a crap shoot. The advantage of Minnesota is all the references to the Peterson case in the NFLPA doc which were from Judge Doty. So it goes from a Bush appointed judge to a Clinton appointed Judge. Which do you think just hearing that is better for a union case. Remember this is a union labor issue.

Nothing is a lock but to cry over this is crazy. Doty would have been best.

He does call out the union for Judge Shopping, just not in the link posted.

At first glance it looked like the same article I saw earlier but not.

If only Kraft had not caved in May. If he had stuck to his guns, the stupid league would have realised that they risked pissing off one of the most influential owners and I honestly believe Brady would not be in this predicament right now. Damn Kraft....

It sucks that it's going to be held in the sewers of New York in the Fuhrer's backyard, but it's the closest thing to a fair-shake that Tom's gonna get. Sadly I only expect another lousy outcome because every other development in this hoax has been a gutpunch.

I only hope this won't completely ruin Brady's image and legacy, perspective doesn't come until years later. If they keep Brady out of the hall on the first ballot I would be severely pissed.

I think the events of the past few months have proved that Kraft isn't really all that influential after all.

I don't know about that. I think the NFL conspirators of this farce are all in no matter what and intend on sticking it to Brady and the Pats on separate levels. They already screwed Kraft and in so doing have pretty much neutered him as an ally for Brady. Their sights are squarely on TB12 right now.

Here's a suggestion:
Some should hook up a go pro body camera to themselves n as this case windS thru the next month(s) we can all witness a poster having a stroke!

So my question is, how can the nfl take brady to court at all?

Isn't it's bradys right to take the nfl to court, where is the nfl right to preemptively take him to court over their own ruling?

Seriously. Take a deep breath and relax. This BS is going to dominate the news and there's no reason to sucked into the media charade they want it to be. Brady will get his day in court and I have every faith that he and his lawyers will be prepared. Then we'll see.

Pat Bradley, the author of that NESN page, has it incorrect. That footnote comes from Judge Kyle's ruling in Minnesota. Note how it's referring to "this Court" about the favorable past rulings. Judge Berman said nothing about this himself.

Hopefully when you wake up it's February 8th and we just won the Super Bowl again and you're waking up with an amazing hangover from an even more incredible night of partying.
