It's a little harsh but I tend to agree that Blount is a bit overrated.
Every team in the league could've grabbed him on the cheap last year via waivers and passed. Even with his questionable character, he would've been snatched up if he was an above-average RB. He's the quintessential JAG. Not a big deal, he's good enough to win with, but the position can easily be upgraded in the near future.

@PatriotsBeat: Edelman with the touchdown from Brady, put a sweet move on Malcolm Butler

Looks like Butler being used as CB1 today, trailing Edelman.

@PatriotsBeat: Garoppolo with another interception in 7 on 7s

@PatriotsBeat: Garoppolo with a beautiful end zone fade

@PatriotsBeat: Brady's looking sharp in 7 on 7s

Not surprised that Blount failed the conditioning test, and I won't be surprised if he fails to make the roster. One of the worst starting RBs in the league, but fans around here have become content with mediocrity at that position. Let's hope Bill hasn't.
Blount is better than most think he is by no means a stud compared to the best in the league. But for some reason he fits here and is much better for us than a guy that 31 other teams passed up on would indicate. Right now he is our best back and I am much more worried about the 3rd down back then Blount.

@BenVolin: Heard that LeGarrette Blount didnt pass the conditioning test yesterday. Had to run 20 sprints of 50 yards under 8 seconds each, only did 12

Gray or Gaffney could pull a BJGE this year.
Any truth to the rumor Blount was smoking a blunt while running his conditioning test ?

Sounds like his lungs took a beating this offseason. I wonder how often he visited the states of Colorado and Washington.

It's legal in Oregon now, too. His old stomping grounds.

@PatriotsBeat: Feel for Butler doing very well in coverage but keeps being beat by Gronk this time a touchdown from Jimmy G

@PatriotsBeat: Garoppolo to Tyms for the touchdown, good coverage again by Butler

No surprise, Gronk is unstoppable.

Good to hear Butler is going well in coverage though.

I hope Butler can win his fair share of those. Edelman is hard to cover though particularly with Brady throwing the ball to him. I just hope Butler stays competitive.

@Russ_Goldman: The reverse pass to Tom Brady for a touchdown has been the highlight but Jimmy Garoppolo also has looked pretty sharp.

Nice it's that tyme of the year again. Tyms is a camp beast.

Pretty creative of the Jets fan. I had never thought of the cheaters angle before. Glad to see he could save up enough money from his job as a garbage man to rent that plane for a fly by.
