Programming note: Chris Mortensen will be on D&C tomorrow at 7:45

D&C finally convinced him to be on. After six months, someone will actually ask him why he hasn't retracted his story of 2 PSI.

I don't expect him to cop to anything or rat out his source, but it will be interesting to hear how he tap dances around the issue

Will they ask him hard questions or will we be disappointed again?

i think they will. i was listening to them this morning, they had schefter on, and they spent most of the interview talking about mort, why he hasnt retracted, if he is mad about his source lying to him, etc. schefter was actually getting defensive about mort.

I listened too. The producer called Mort several times and went right to VM. He called again, Mort picked up then hung up on him. Callahan went on a rant afterwards that he needs to account for the erroneous report (100% right).

I guess they got thru to him.

It will be hostile- no question.

I listened to the whole interview. I've always liked the way Schefter carried himself.

But he is lying through his teeth when he says that he has never spoken with Mort about the false report. These guys are colleges/friends....and they have never spoke about it once since January......********!

It tells me a lot when Schefter is being forced to lie.

I don't blame Schefter for not selling out his friend and colleague. Schefter is a stand up guy and would never sell anyone out. It isn't his place to sell out Mort's sources.

Public wreckning like in Wayward Pines?

Minihane will either get him to talk about it or he'll get hung-up on for badgering him too much. Say what you will about the guy, but he's not afraid to push people's buttons or rub them the wrong way.

If Kirk Minnehan is there...I think the questions will be more critical. He seems to not give darn about what people think.

I wouldn't expect much. Mort will have been coached up by BSPN on how to avoid answering the tough questions.

They way to get to him is to play on his self described "Christian" label. What would Jesus do if he made such an error? This I stole from another poster here. Jesus got 11 of 12 apostles right, Mort got 11 of 12 balls wrong, what would Jesus do.
