He's now on record as being confident that McNally and Jastremski didn't cheat. (Of course, he can't be TOTALLY sure, but that's still a clear statement.)

One of the things McNally and Jaz did really makes me suspect them, and that's the whole quote about, "He knows you must be under so much pressure to get them done." For me, their explanation barely holds water.

That being said, how in the world were these two doinks interrogated under not quite polite conditions for 20 hours or so--by ex-FBI agents no less--and they never broke? You gotta be kidding me. They went through that many hours of questioning without ever once contradicting themselves?

If it were me, and I had deflated balls, I would have pissed myself in the 30th minute and admitted to shooting Lincoln in the 42nd minute.

Yeah, the whole destroying of the cell phone was totally a war of public perception. The thing is I wonder if this will open up the NFL for a defamation suit from Brady. If Brady told the NFL the cell phone broke and he replaced it and not that he instructed his assistant to destroy it, the NFL outright lied to sully his image. And it is in writing.

This is a really good point.

If the phone was broken, then it wasn't purposely destroyed.

Supposedly that fragment came from a conversation about getting tickets from some relative. "He" was not Tom Brady. The Patriots offered up the "he" to corroborate the story, but apparently that wasn't good enough for Wells. All "he's" must mean Brady.

Tom Brady would not "destroy" his phone without the input of his legal team.. what he did was calculated and purposeful... and is part of a larger strategy...

The NFL has failed to address the leaks from its offices.. from Kravitz, Mort and Steven A Smith.. and the person(s) who have been leaking this information will escape scrutiny..

Integrity is a one way street in the NFL...

The restraint Brady has is insane. I would have already turned a non issue into a criminal issue after punching both Goodell and that weasel **** Wells in the face if they slandered me like this.

Why does it matter? The NFL does not have subpoena power.
Goodell made the appeal about Brady destroying something they had no right to look at.
I think this actually helps the legal case.

In a defamation case as a public figure, you have to prove malicious actions. The Mort leaks and never retracting it, is an example of malicious action by omissions.

This phone nonsense is an active malicious act. Ironically Goodell and his Cabal may have offered the proof needed by the Supreme Court definition of conscious malicious action. Hoist on their own Petard.

I like that.

Rodger goodell ask for police protection for his maine home lol

Police protection. No problem rodger.. Just hand over your phone

I feel like Tom just put on a Ray Rice jersey and found the NFL drunk and alone in an elevator.

Part of me hates that he used FB as way of explaining his position. I understand it. It's light. Hes comfortable with it. It's personal and very human and not massaged by PR experts...IE...its in his own words....I get it and it's the right approach.

However, part of me wants Brady to channel 1980 Ronald Reagan in a press conference and put the NFL on notice in a very public way.

It's not that Facebook is light. It's that Facebook has reach. And the reach is unvarnished. When people come home from work and pop on sportscenter, SC quotes 3 words from Brady's FB post. But the people on Facebook get it direct and can read it.

Wasn't that during the week? What could he possibly be doing to get them done mid-week? Anything before the game is subject to inspection by the referee.

This was exactly what I hoped to wake up to this morning. This or Goodell's head in a vise.

No, Goodell*'s head is firmly entrenched up his sphincter.

That one, and even moreso the one where one of them says (I'm paraphrasing) "Brady better get you the swag or his passer rating will be the only thing deflating on Sunday."

Downvote me all you want, but I don't see any innocent explanation of that which isn't a ridiculous reach. It's why I'm an adherent of the "If refs inflated the submitted 12.5 PSI balls to more than 12.5 PSI, McNally deflated them back down to 12.5 PSI" theory (which explains why the science shows the AFCCG balls were where the IGL said they should be -- the refs left the balls at 12.5 PSI so there was nothing to do). Doesn't mean Brady had any knowledge/involvement, but I'm near-convinced Jastremski and McNally were doing something.

That one is explainable. Right after that Jets game, Brady told them to bring the rule book to the refs to show them where the balls should be deflated. In other words, Brady wanted the refs to deflate the balls. It was part of the texts and testimony.

Breer has a strange spin on the cellphone on rich eisen show. He says league held on to this info for a while to let brady think if he really wanted to go to the court because whenenver that ahppens -1yr 2yrs from now -more stuff would be coming out from them which would look brady worse. Not really sure what he means by more stuff .What else are they going to get in the next 1 or 2 yrs ? Strange.

so you start here "Brady better get you the swag or his passer rating will be the only thing deflating on Sunday."
and close with brady had no knowledge/involvement.
you are chasing your own tail.

the way people work is they look at the clouds and see faces

"I see dead goodells.."

**** yeah, Tom.

Brady! Brady! Brady!

It still boggles my mind that such an insignificant matter which was never proven conclusively, has gotten completely blown out of proportion..

This the unintended consequence of the NFL and its leaking of erroneous information to selected press..

My belief has gotten confirmed that Goodell and his minions had an agenda in mind in the Baltimore Game, and everything subsequent has been done to accomplish that agenda..

NFL Integrity is an oxymoron of the greatest proportion..

Breer is a delusional hater at best and the NFL's mouthpiece at worst.
