A soccer one that I love.
12th minute of game. Constant applause from 12:00 to 12:59 on the clock.
Applaud Tom Brady.
Too subtle perhaps.
You are right in so many ways. I do believe we will come up with something and hopefully all the STH will join inI told some friends this earlier today.. I can't see goodell setting foot in our stadium this season, let alone opening night.
I would love to see it though... Gillette camera guy zooms in or that f-ing stupid dumb face for an extended time and that PoS gets the loudest, longest most hate filled ring of boos he's ever heard. Hell I would love to see a real life walk of shame, Game of Thrones-style.
Honestly though if Brady is playing, non-stop brady chants would be a given. Maybe a -sue the league- chant as well.
If Brady is indeed still suspended, that's a tough one. Boycott the 1st half is a popular one. An empty stadium is a big statement but I don't like it because I think the team on the field deserves support. I'm not sure a chant is enough, I think something more drastic or effective is needed.
While I might wish violence and physical harm, or at the very least, eye herpes on that puke Goodell. Violence is certainly not an option as the OP suggested .
Finally, I absolutely agree that the fans need to make a statement at this game against the nfl*, goodell* and potentially Kraft (depending on how things play out before then). I'm sure we'll figure something out.
I agree. I've been wondering if he has (in the past) always attended the opening night. Would be very curious to see if him missing an opening night game was unprecedented. No, he's going to be in San Francisco, where the music thing is going to be. Guaranteed. He doesn't have the sack to go to Foxboro.
*shudder*I told some friends this earlier today.. I can't see goodell setting foot in our stadium this season, let alone opening night.

I'll be there. I'm thinking of spray painting a large white sheet with the letters FU RG and hanging it from my section, but that likely would be taken down pretty quick. Unfortunately, "controversial" banners aren't tolerated in Gillette.Massive banners with things like "NO EVIDENCE", "NFL WITCH HUNT", "GOODELL HAS NO INTEGRITY" held up all over the stadium - so many the cameras can't miss them.
