For what it's worth, the Bills rep, Eric Wood, said he wants the Pats at their best, as does their Coach, Rex Ryan.

Probably sampled players who have routinely gotten their asses handed to them by Brady and the pats.

So, zero problem with them defending Rice. Defending Peterson. Defending Hardy.

Tom Brady though, hell no. Let him rot. He doesn't deserve defending because he's a CHEATER.

Who are these people? Name them. I want their names. They should never be allowed to ever represent anyone again.

no surprise...air in a ball is far more serious than domestic violence/attempted murder/beating your kids....

Let's be fair here, being guilty in the court of public opinion of something for which there is no proof even happened let alone that you orchestrated is significantly worse than taking a ****ing switch to your son's scrotum so I can understand the NFLPA reps' issues.

Jason Cole has been a mouthpiece for the NFL throughout this whole thing.

Don't believe me? Check out that last part about the Union Reps supposedly upset that this will "overshadow the season".

Why in the blue **** would a player on another team give **** one as to whether or not this case is going on?

Given the state of the league maybe the reps are thinking that they might benefit from that kind of protection themselves.

I saw plenty of player tweets in the immediate aftermath of the NFL decision to uphold the suspension - and ALL of them, at least the ones played on the bottom screen scroll, were of the "Cheaters never win" variety....one in particular that I remember was Vontaze Burfect

Haters gonna hate, its lonely at the top...

I guess the NFLPA is there to protect the crack heads and wife beaters

none of them complained when the NFLPA filed a grievance on behalf of aaron hernandez

losers and racists

Just worries me. Will the NFL look the other way regarding dirty hits to certain Pats players?

The NFL has fined the Patriots more than it's ever fined any team. Twice.

The NFL has cost the Patriots a game by wrongfully enforcing a rule that had never been enforced before, and has never been enforced since.

This type of crap has become part of the cost of doing business under Goodell, and it needs to stop. If the NFLPA reps want to cry because their union is finally doing what it should have done during the CBA negotiations, and standing up to the NFL, they should all go get vasectomies, because they're too stupid to be allowed to procreate.

The people who are accepting this as absolute fact, and not yet another leak from the league office in a lame attempt to leverage Brady some more - are truly mystifying to me.

Jason Cole has been NFL leak central for outlets not named ESPN or NFLN.

Again, I will state that the Tom Brady/Bill Belichick are the MOST HATED TEAM in united states team sports history.

I challenge ANYONE to come up with another team that has been nationally pilloried to the extent have the Patriots.

When 76% of the country thinks your team and quarterback "cheated" there's no way the player reps would support Brady.

It's not just the hatred, it is the f#cking level and fervor of the hatred that most of the country espouses....

Cheaters never win?

How does that make any sense whatsoever in this case.

Either way, the guy is wrong.

Yup.... Should have been something like:

"Cheaters never win (if you ignore the 4 Lombardis)!"

At least that kind of flippancy could be respected.
