He didn't. He initially said they would accept league penalties because the expectation was something like a $100,000 fine. When the actual sanctions were levied, he went on a rampage, going as far as creating the context site and doing an interview with King. Kraft ended up capitulating afterward, but that was only to the fine and draft picks. Kraft never had the authority to accept a suspension on Tom's behalf.

That's funny. Brady's legal legal team didn't know what the ball boys told Wells because it was privelege. Laughable from a "independent" investigator to treat them like defendants in a court of law with no judge to overrule or sustain. It's ****inf hilarious actually and I hope it is a point in the hearings.

Just watched the whole statement. It is strong, very strong. I do wish he had said slapped Goodell verbally and directly. But it was still good and I do accept the apology. I am happy he apologized to us fans. We are important and most importantly, we are RIGHT.

KRAFT is just like small dog barking at u and when u come closer, he backs of with TAIL UNDER HIS LEGS AND LAYS ON HIS BACK AND PUT ALL HIS FOUR LEGS UP and after u show him back and u are far away from him he starts barking again.

Patriots or NFLPA lawyers were present at all interviews, I think.

What was denied the NFLPA was communications between the NFL and Wells. I think that the NFL & Wells went to other scientists before Exponenent, got results they didn't like, and didn't use them. That's what the NFLPA was sniffing out, IMO, when the NFL pulled the privileged client-lawyer BS.

Serious question: Since the NFL will now be randomly measuring footballs for psi and I believe recording the results during the upcoming season, if it is found that the weather/temperature conditions do, in fact, affect the psi ( Green Bay and Buffalo in December come to mind)........and it is found that the Patriot measurements do indeed coincide with the IGL...does Kraft and the Patriots have a chance to get their 1st round pick and 4th round pick returned in time for next season's NFL Draft ??

So you're proposing that the NFL will conduct valid scientific experiments and that Goodell is open to changing his mind based on evidence that undermines his beliefs? Goodell lives in his own private Idaho. Even Kraft has come to understand that "this was never about being fair or just."

Actually he would have a decent chance. Given that the report says only McNally and Jastremski did it and Brady maybe knew about it. No where does it say anyone else in the Patriots organization knew.
