As a Patriots fan, I hate to say this, but if your ball boys insert needles into the team's footballs and opponents footballs after officials measure them, you should expect a penalty if caught. And if the top brass of the team is aware and admits they put out an order to do this prior to the game, then a million dollar fine and suspensions are well-deserved.
Based on the evidence, the Colts should be suspended because the team's leadership and ball boys are inarguably implicated in the above via communications with league officials and referees.
Sometimes, I wish they followed the Patriots lead. For example, there is no evidence the Patriots planned something, no evidence they gave needles to the ball boys to use on their or opponent footballs during the game, no evidence anybody was asked to do so, no evidence this is a pattern as the Colts accused, no evidence the air pressure in footballs is significantly and certainly different now or in the past, no knowledge the air pressure in footballs changes during a game. All of this is completely the opposite of the Colts, who have been collecting air pressure statistics for some time.
Well, almost certainly one of the teams will be stuck with serious penalties and I think we all know which one.
